easy check in, spacious room, nice balcony

Great easy to navigate undercover parking. Weren't quite sure what sort of room to expect with the exterior looking a bit dated, but the room was so clean and fresh with up to date appliances. The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! The free bottles of water was a great touch, something all motels/hotels should look into.

What I liked was the convenient location, close to Coles and Dam Murphy

There was no microwave in the room or anywhere in the hotel to heat food, and we found two cockroaches in the bathroom

Room was clean and tidy

Unable to upgrade our room to accommodate an extra adult due to the night manager's inability to understand what we were asking, resulting in our extra adult having to stay at The Commercial. When we called there were 2 family rooms but the next morning they were booked. When we took the 3rd adult to check in, she had 2 two pack biscuits to have with coffee. When we got back to our room, no biscuits. When we enquired at reception about biscuits they didn't have any so we received 2 complimentary breakfast boxes. Thank you. Then our travelling companion at The Commercial received a voucher for a free drink and 10% off her meal. I fail to understand how 2 pubs with Nightcap, do not offer the same benefits/rewards for chosing Nightcap. All of this could have easily been avoided had the night manager been able to upgrade our accommodation to a family room which was available at the time of our call, and not be told don't worry about it we will fix it tomorrow, which turned out too late, as the 2 previously available rooms were booked.Day blinds should be installed to allow guests to open the blinds without everyone being able to see in

It was clean, comfortable and handy to facilities. Close to the motorway to get on the road the next day.

Waiting for someone to attend office so that we could check in took about 15 minutes.

Proximity to shopping centre. Free unlimited bottle water was unexpected

Could have better availability of staff at Reception as sometimes the wait was abit long

Location was good for what we were doing.Room was Clean and Tidy. Staff were good.Meals at Hotel were great.

Bed was too soft. Hanging light shade near bed needs to be shifted, hit your head when putting things on bedside table.

Ok for the price but would choose elsewhere to stay next time.

Night staff slamming the door to the bar was ridiculously annoying waking me up multiple times over the 4 nights stay. Showers were grotty, mold etc in the grout - bathroom didn't look that old so it's the cleaners not doing their job. Hotel smoking area way too close the room balcony that had no privacy.

Great location - right near a Coles, Dan Murphy, chemist etc. We were at Nerang for a wedding. About 20 minutes drive to Broadbeach. They also gave complimentary water which I thought was a nice touch.

Getting into the car park was annoying at times as a delivery truck for the pub would park there and we couldn't fit through

The room was very clean, fresh and modern, the bed was very comfortable and it was pretty quiet throughout the night. We liked the convenience of access to the hotel with lovely meals that were good value.

Comfortable and good facilities but didn’t feel family safe

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Friday night the people in the room next to us came home around 1:30am slamming doors, swearing and yelling for a good 40 minutes which I found to be very unsettling for my family. The hotel is between Dan Murphy’s and a pub/ bistro so it felt like a little unsafe to be walking around outside at night as there were some intoxicated people walking around and it was only 8:30pm! Again, a little uncomfortable for our family of 4. I felt very on edge for my kids when we walked across to Coles after dinner at the hotel’s bistro. I would recommend having some security guards with dogs doing the rounds so that guests feel some level of safety in the evenings and overnight when intoxicated people return to their rooms.

Conveniently located, nice enough for a little weekend getaway.

Would have preferred if there was maybe a microwave or an air fryer, just so we didn’t have to order out as much to have a warm meal. Also the wifi barely worked, so had to hotspot from our phones to watch the TV
