Mantra Twin Towns Coolangatta

Good local location to get to amenities and good base to get to the rest of the gold coast via the highway

Unfortunately my room was on the first floor. It overlooked the laneway and the backyards of other buildings and, the balcony was never in the sun

Our room and parking were very convenient and accessible.

I am not comfortable with the facility taking and holding $200 security. Why?

I was happy with the size and location of my room. I did not have breakfast there, as I only have something light.

Although I found it easy to get from carpark to my room with good directions, there was no information on how to access the reception area or to the street. The scan on tv did not work for me. Mature visitors need more written information on tlhe finer details. Also only discovered short cut past pool on the second day.

Location is great.

One particular staff at reception had a bad attitude. Thankfully the duty manager stepped in and went over and above to put things right. I later bumped into the housekeeping supervisor who was equally at brilliant as the duty manager. Shane how one person on reception can smudge a good hotel.

Best breakfast we have ever had at any motel Australia wide, and we travel a lot, fresh, hot and a great range. Well done guys A+++++

Great location, easy walk to everything and right on the border!

I assume it was a busy weekend as the prices were very high for the space.

It may be the going rate these days but when your room for two people is $420 a night it makes it harder to get away

Great location! Was very convenient to have the walkway to Twin Towns Club.

The check in process is always a major problem. Nearly an hour from pulling up at the property to actually getting to your room.

Modern, close to Twin Towns, close to the close, great facilities (indoor and outdoor pool), close to the airport, room was clean.

I loved everything about the property

Did what it said on the tin. As expected.

Asked for a higher floor on booking. Got 1st floor. However, is what it is. I didn’t enquire about a better floor.

Honestly it was brilliant clean fresh tidy everything was of high quality and standard. Facilities , twin towns revamp was magic. Very happy returning very soon found mantra to be the best I’ve had in a year of travelling after selling up. The Sebel is my usual favourite place to stay but there most happy with the mantra. Only down side - staff - very standoffish, not very welcoming and quite judgemental. We arrived after 5 hectic days of travel selling kids dramas and looking forward to the stay my partner has a muscular / constant twitch-slight spasms- tired - at times due to illness especially if I run him around ragged looking for land for weeks lol, but to say the least we - I ignored the staff and the looks / uncomfortable feeling of being watched or checked or questioned ect, it’s not nice & my partner refuses to explain anymore as he only 38 & had enough of the “common” assessment of him / us. Being working last 20 years mining & Nathan construction industry, we have a solid 5 years off with our daughter & hope that we can relax and lounge around without the “Esudo” tag. At end of day we laughed stayed up late swam talked loved and had a brilliant stay Many thanks

Clean, near beach, good facilities

A few minutes walk to the beach, shops and surf club. Car not needed to get around.

Dishwasher was not in good working order. Although items were washed. They were not dry and had water stains on them.
