Great location close to the airport. Perfect for a layover or if you have an early flight the next morning. Comfortable bed.

Bit expensive considering it is a shared bathroom. Not many plug outlets in the room

Traffic noise in 52 was incredible!!! Very hard to get any sleep. My last visit I was in 22 which was much quieter.

Cleanest bathrooms, dorms and kitchen in a hostel we’ve ever seen! Staff are so friendly we extended!! Central to everything and 3 minutes walk to beach. We won’t stay anywhere else on the Gold Coast. 1000/10.

Check in and check out was very fast and easy. Parking is included.

It was very uncomfortable, the bed was making some weird noise, the internet was very slow (less than 2,5MB/s). The showers were just bad. If you compare it with other hostels it is just bad.No air conditioner in the room so you just sweat as hell and cannot really sleep.

Friendly staff, super clean and quiet, everyone so lovely and respectful.

We were staying for just one night and flying out early the next morning so the proximity to the airport was exactly what we needed. Also, it was a really lovely one hour walk along the coast to a local surf club and back, so the location was good for that reason too. The room we were in - one bunk bed and one queen bed - was of a good size.

The pool looked a bit uncared for and not particularly inviting.

Close enough to the airport. Convenient for people that arrive at the airport late at night.

The staff members were super helpful, friendly and with good hospitality - organised Christmas movie night with marshmallow and hot chocolate.Great location close to airport and beaches.

I didn't feel comfortable with the room as it was extremely hot even with the fan on the whole day. Too bright at night (having curtain on each bed would be more privacy and darker to sleep). A lot of dust accumulated on the fan.

Very close to airport, easy to walk. Staff were lovely. Wifi was good. Plenty of street parking.

Rooms were quite warm with no air conditioning. Shared bathrooms not the cleanest. Because it is a hostel it was also a bit loud at night (I appreciated the free ear plugs).

Location is good as it’s near the airport but crossing the busy highway under the extreme heat can be brutal.

Price seems a little higher than other hostel as they don’t provide breakfast or any sort of food complimentary. Also I wasn’t given a towel during my stay which I realized they do when I’m about to checkout.

Good walking distance to the airport! Some good restaurants about a 5 minute drive. Pretty quiet for a hostel.

The fan barely moved and was very noisy.

The staff made it a really enjoyable stay, Heather and her team were friendly and welcoming, not just on check in but my whole stay. One of the residents had to be told to leave and I was so impressed with how the receptionist handled it, she was only young!Having been travelling alone for a few weeks, the conversation and chats were very welcome and made me feel at home. It is a basic hostel, bit dated and the kitchen could do with some attention, but the staff just changed the whole experience for me.

It was a bit basic, I was always scared of getting locked into the walk in fridge! Most of what you needed was there but everything was just a bit tired. Having said that, it was not expensive so I can’t really complain!

Too hot during the day and night, no a/c, fan was not enough and loudly (had to sleep with the door open), price too high for what you get, old facility, dirty pool.

Convenient, good vibe, comfy bed

No aircon in room was only let down and washing lines where always full so was a struggle to dry clothing but I will definitely stay again as these are only small issues that weren't too much of a issue

Grounds need some more care and cleaning. Paths need hosing and courtyard and gardens need some help.

Very accommodating as booking.com didnt allow a change to my booking even when i had the impression the refund decision belonged to YHA. Who said they were ok with it. Very frustrating but staff were exceptional when i got there.

Very noisy. No downstairs toilet available.
