Nice location close to beach

Paid extra and booked this as a deluxe unit. I wouldn’t classify this as deluxe.

Ocean Sands is located in a fantastic location at one end of Tedder Ave. Our apartment had views of the river and glimpses of the ocean. It is an easy stroll to both river and beach. Perfect for watching all the boating activities on the water and sunset over the hills.

Enjoyed everything about our hotel stay

Spacious place with comfortable furniture, and air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom, which was really comfortable during the hot weather.

The property is quite old, and the bathroom fittings are outdated. For example, the taps don’t have automatic mixer, there are separate hot and cold taps that need to be manually mixed, which makes it really hard for kids to use.The bathrooms also don’t have exhaust fans, so smells end up coming through into the lounge room after someone uses the toilet.

Clean comfortable and spacious apartment on level 8 with great views. Would stay again.

The lighting. It’s a big space. The lounge area needs a lamp.

Bedroom blinds let too much early morning light in.

Convenient location to Sea World, the ocean and restaurants.

It was quiet and spacious.

3brm well stocked kitchen, extra blankets, large apartment good size balcony, separate laundry with dryer, housed my son, 2 grandkids and myself plenty of space. Large balcony, family enjoyed the pools and spa handy walk to beach and cafes. It was a lovely 3 nights, management and other occupants friendly a great place. Didn’t want to leave and hope to get back there.

Great Location and Property for a family. Exceeded expectations

There was a lot of construction near the property. Construction started at 6am each morning and was quite loud

Good space for 2 families. Great location and central to all attractions and restaurants.

Lots of construction taking place which made it noisy from 5am.

The location and amazing view of the Broadwater from the unit was one of the best that we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again. Well located for all you need including an easy walk to the yacht club, surf club and the light rail.The unit was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful. The BBQ areas were also well equipped and well maintained to allow for self catering. Overall a great place to stay.

The apartment whilst comfortable was slightly dated and did not entirely reflect the pictures advertised for a deluxe apartment which was a little disappointing.

The apartment is large and spacious. Having 2 full bathrooms was great.

For what we paid for 8 nights and convenience it would have been nice to have more than 1 dishwasher puck, some dish detergent and hand soap in the kitchen. 1 roll of toilet paper for 8 nights was also silly. These items don't cost a lot, and just make the experience better. To go out and buy all these items for just a few nights when travelling isn't reasonable.Don't expect a water or marina view, we didn't have much.There is a lot of construction in the area, so we never got to use the deck or leave doors open as it was just too noisy.Air conditioning wasn't working our first night which was frustrating, but this did get fixed later.

Tidy apartment, great view, bigger apartment than most we stayed in at GC before.

The bedroom tv is a bit dated and found it kept dropping internet connection. A smart tv upgrade could be beneficial for future stayers.

No air con or fans in one of the bedrooms.Mould in bathroom as no vent in window.Needs an update.Not enough toilet paper supplied for 6 people for 4 days.

Location. Easy parking & spacious well equipped apartment for family living. Wifi & TV good. Great views.

Third bedroom is behind plantation shutters that didn’t function well with wheelie beds. Worked for our teenagers but couldn’t operate tv once kids in bed. Steam room not working. Tennis court equipment hire fee off putting.

The views were beautiful and the beds very comfy. Lots of room for the whole family.

The only negative thing I had to say was the hot water ran out each day when we all tried to have a shower.
