Sanctuary Beach Resort

We had a beach front unit - main living area was amazing, 2nd bedroom was fabulous with a small deck/ocean views with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. However, the main bedroom lacked the floor to ceiling windows etc so no ocean views unless you stood up & looked out the windows. Very spacious, lovely renovated textiles/furniture.

With the apartment - the main bedroom, no floor to ceiling windows/sliding glass doors to enjoy the beachfront upon waking.The pool area could be larger with a more accommodating BBQ area for guests that have family in the area that are visiting.Pool towels should not require a fee of $5 each for the paying guests! This is a "resort" & they should be noted on the person's account of how many towels have been taken for use, if not returned, then charged at full price to the paying guest.

Neighbour's two dogs barking frequently.Renovations next door necessitated occasionally vacating the apartment.With the airport so close the noise of planes close overhead was disruptive.

Really nice location ,Currumbin sanctuary right around the corner beach on the back doorstep tweed heads just down the road.But the beds were so so comfortable

My daughter left her drink bottle in the freezer. The man that was in the unit I assume cleaning organising doing whatever was not impressed that he had to go down to the linen room and get it for us. Was very grumpy about it

It's definitely one of our favourite places to stay. Comfortable, good sized apartments that are great for families. Tennis courts, basketball and the pool are great to keep the kids busy when they aren't at the beach.

There are a few stairs to most apartments.

The stairs up to the apartment and the planes. There isn’t as much air traffic after 9pm

Great facilities, spacious and clean and great location. Ideal for buses up and down the coast.

Beautiful location, lovely spacious apartment and having our own washing machine available in the apartment was definitely handy.

Didn't really bother us but we were surprised by the stairs without an accessibility option. It may have just been that I didn't read properly when booking. Maybe making this more notable in advertisements could be useful for others when booking.

Facilities were excellent. We stayed as we had no power at home due to Cyclone Alfred. Apartment had everything we needed.

The location was great. Right beside the beach and across the road from Currumbin Sanctuary. The Friday night market there is definitely good. A walk to Currumbin Vikings Club that has a great vibe. Quiet area with good beach access and a walkway that takes you through to shops with a 10 minute walk.

Not many staff at all. They had maintenance going on while we were there during the day. Doors could do with some TLC.

Location on beach was nice, size of rooms were good.

Underground parking stunk, reception and first impression needs attention, not a good check in experience.

Was told that we had beach views but unless on tip toes there was not a view. Apartment comfortable BUT very dated, building work going on while we there and FELT that management should have moved us to a quieter location

Absolutely loved the location and accessibility of this hotel. Staff were extremely accommodating when dealing with my flight delays and check ins. Fell in love with the hotel pool pet.

Apartment was quite old and requires maintenance. Also more bread and butter plates and reasonably sized cups would have been appreciated.
