Aruba Surf Resort

When I arrived hotel the receipt ion already closed with in working condition and hotel has twice charged bond repeatedly without an apologia.

Its in a great spot easy walking to beach shops & transport. Great swimming pool.

Telephone not working in the room a few cockroaches

Location

Ran out of toilet paper, not given enough soap/shampoo, only 2 towels for whole week. No dishwashing liquid. If I wanted any of these supplies I had to pay for them. Couch was ripped up. Door to the dryer fell off.

Very basic but has everything we need. Very quiet street.

There was no daily cleaning, not sure if its the norm for the weekend stay.?

Excellent location I needed, and got it at Aruba Surf Resort.

The Ded is too low, high ded frame would been more comfortable, but it was okay..

close to shops, beaches also Aruba have a pool & heated sauna.

No lift & our room was on the third floor!

The unit very old needs a lot of cosmetic touches plus it's not enough toiletries

They charged us $477 a for one night, where rooms are advertised on numerous other sites for $170. Our flight was cancelled due to jetsta. see below for issues-- the room was 2star & thats being generous- no respone from business owner after numerous emails-carpet was filthy- room stunk- no lift, room was on the top level- kitchen dirty- no one available at reception- no wifi- pictures falling of wall- pool looked green- mattress was awful

Great location. Close to beach, train, shopping and dining. Very clean, friendly staff and great facility. Not sure you could find a better overall experience for the money.

Good location for getting around.

Staff were kinda useless. Getting into the property was a pain as when trying to phone, the staff would never pick up, same for trying to use the doorbell. Mold on the ceiling by the shower. No toilet paper. Also no gym.

Aruba Surf Club is located in a perfect location, close to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, Draculas, Star Casino and Pacific Fair. The staff were very friendly and the spa was perfectly warm and cosy.

The Resort is a little old and in need of some TLC. Apart from that it’s quaint and calm.

Great location and feel to the placeNice grounds and pool. 5 min walk to Pacific fair and beach and trams. Only 4 stories so no sea views, but you still get a good gold coast feel. The 1 bed apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Parking onsite was helpful and free. Bed was decent level of comfort and pillows were fine.

No fly screens. Room was stinky and if you open windows/door midges and moths zoom in. Smelled like drains but I'm pretty sure it was the fixed bin in the kitchen cupboard. Old rubbish juice was all over it. It was gross. We shut the cupboard and never opened it again and used a bag hanging on the door as a bin. Also, only 1 thin blanket on the bed and no spare. Needs a doona or something more substantial.

Dirty and disappointing

I never give bad reviews and this doesn’t bring me any satisfaction. But I feel like I need to post this after all of my emails and messages were ignored. When I checked into the room it was dirty, there were toenails scattered on my bedroom floor and a half eaten pizza in a box in the kitchen cupboard, as well as a lot of cockroaches in the kitchen. They sent someone up to vacuum but the pizza was left thereYou are expected to take care of your own rubbish which I thought was very odd. Only one small rubbish bag was provided and one toilet roll.I stayed there for 8 nights and they didn’t offer to clean once (I know I probably could have asked them, but it was more about the principal)They seem to want a lot from customers but are not willing to do any extra to ensure a comfortable stay. It seems like they really don’t care, only about you giving a good review which they asked me to do multiple times and I overheard them ask others also. I am sorry to have to write this, but I have just been left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Location was great, the Apartment was really nice with washer & dryer. Overall just a great place to stay!

Parking is somewhat limited if you have a bigger/lifted ute. Only real negative. But that's just the city.

The location was excellent and the friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more enjoyable. My room was clean, ultra spacious and had everything I needed for a long term stay. I was located at the end of the building in front of the pool so the outside balcony was like a tropical oasis. Very happy and would recommend to friends and family. Cheers guys!
