Surfers Beachside Holiday Apartments

Everything was excellent apart from the wifi (as below)

The only thing we had an issue with was the wifi, which was quite limited and not always available

The location was good, beachside and the balcony

The apartment in general lacked cleaning, when we first entered, there was a big curry smell that shocked us along with some other odors. The kitchen utensils like pan were all worn out and old, couldn’t do a proper meal.Fridge was dirty inside and some cabinets in the kitchen as well. The shower head had some sort of mould buildup and in general the apartment needs a good clean as well as painting the walls as they look old and fade. Wouldn’t stay there again for that price

A superb location, right in front of Northcliffe Beach which is patrolled and safe. The balcony had amazing views and the rooms were spacious. Located 1 block away from the tram and main bus route. Easy 10 min stroll along coastal walkway to Cavill Ave.

The toilets at the pool were being renovated so it was a bit annoying having to go back to your room to use the bathroom.

Great location close to the beach, tram and Surfers Paradise. Beautiful view from the balcony to the beach and while the road could be loud at times, mostly it was not an issue.

Great apartment, clean, spacious , comfy beds, good facilities and have AC in each room. Very close to the beach and shops/restaurants . Soaking in the spa pool on a rainy day it's great idea when we were there. Highly recommended

Nothing that we don't like.

Pros: close to the beach, nice ocean view, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer in good condition. Staff were very responsive

Cons: Apartment needs maintenance. Some remotes were not working, staff couldn't fix it & no spare remote available. The pool was supposed to be heated, but it wasn't. The water was really cold. There were also some visits made by the cockroach family. The chairs in the balcony need fixing.

The location is great.The cooking equipment is also fully provided.

The property is old and the sound proof is not good.

The shower over a very deep bath with taps in the middle was just so dangerous. Badly designed. Very low loungeHard to get up.. one soap and shampoo. Reception had none. Chair on balcony broken disappointed to say the least

Location, price and lovely pool area.

Mattress had a dip on one side and Saturday evening tried to get into pool via front gate - had a padlock. Wasnt until Sunday morning worked out could get in the beach side gate from carpark - sign in front gate or note in welcome letter would have been nice.

As advertised, great view and had all the in room amenities require to be able to cook dinners when required, wash & dry clothes if needed - which is always a bonus when on holiday and a cyclone hits.The staff were fabulous though, we really appreciated the help and kindness shown whilst there.

The bed was quite springy and old, the couch cushion material was itchy and the shower was quite fiddly to get the right temp & low pressure.

Great apartment, clean and spacious with a balcony and amazing views towards the beach and surrounding area. Nice location, just outside the busy area but still within walking distance and easy to drive to/from. Surf Club across the road with a great restaurant/bar and a Lifegaurd Station for safe swimming.Kitchen was nicely set up, with enough to cook basic meals and included a dishwasher.Free parking was included also!

The whole complex is immaculately clean and so close to the beach and restaurants and other amenities. The apartment was updated and spacious. There is lots of construction going on around the apartment building so noise was somewhat of an issue although this was not the complexs fault though. Overall a great weekend escape with everything you need at a great price.

Great location.Pool was beautiful.

The room was a bit old, but very clean.There were 5 or 6 lights inside, but it took ages to work out how to turn 1 on. We gave up on the rest.We stayed for 2 nights and were only supplied 1 small soap for the basin and shower combined. There was no washer supplied.

It was filthy, cockroaches crawling in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom inside the bed, I was horrified but it was too late to book somewhere else. The manager didn’t care. I had to ask for a Mortein spray . I have never ever wrote a bad review but avoid this place. It used to be a place where I went for many years but with the new Management I will NEVER go there again. Only one tiny soap in the bathroom. Much more to say but it’s minor compared to this.

it is centrally located sue at reception was very helpful and friendly the cleaner gentlemen was very friendly and approachableloved it i’ll be back next year !

Location was great. Staff were friendly

Rooms could of been cleaner. Dishwasher didn't work and had a smell. Light in bedroom didn't work. No washing up liquid to wash dishes. Couldn't find ironing board.

The view and noise of Surfers Beach is currently great, Although the new multi-storey development on Garfield road will block some if not all of this view, but being essentially a block back you are only 2 minutes from the beach.

The location was really good.Great Ocean view, good size balcony with sofa.Ice cold water function on the fridge.Friendly reception staff.

The apartment was obviously privately owned, due to the design. It had very low ceilings?Therefore, the lounge was very low to the floor, as was the bed.The bath and shower were actually dangerous!To get into the bath, you had to step up onto 2 steep steps to get into the bath, which had the shower also, with nothing to hold on to?It was bizarre.The bed was very low to the ground , with a wooden frame where the mattress sat, with sharp corners?Hence my husband has a nasty bruise on his shin!Very dangerous.

Overall fantastic! Great location, view and amenities

The ceiling fan in the second bedroom wasn’t working properly, noisy and a bit dickie making it uncomfortable sleeping in the heat. Also having one set of keys was annoying when family members want to go their own ways. Still it was a great place and I’d stay again.
