View and location

The apartment had a nice view to the ocean.Kitchen facilities were ok.The pool and sauna also met our expectations.

There is a construction aside (of another hotel), very noisy.It was a little bit strange that the bedrooms had air conditioning while the saloon did not have.Note that the internal parking is limited by 1.90m height, for those who come with a large car.

The view and location were excellent. The staff were great, Maree was amazing!! Can't thank her enough for sorting out some issues we had and making our stay fabulous!

View was spectacular! Clean and spacious, with very friendly and helpful staff. Wish we had booked for longer.

the big hall for my family was great. we were able to cook, and enjoyed family time together

The construction at next building

Location of the property was great.

Apartment information stated all apartments are modern ... however when we arrived we found the furniture to be dated, mismatched and somewhat damaged. Please see the attached photos nothing like the photos on booking.com. The dining table had two different styles of chairs, neither of which matched the table. Nothing in the apartment blended in, rather it looked as though items were thrown together at the last minute to accommodate a large space. As the booking was for a family of 5 I would have expected that we could sit at the dining table together to eat however the large table only had 4 chairs so we could not eat as a family. Nothing was plugged in so we had to go through and plug the lamp in the lounge, the fan in the lounge, the tv, the side lamps in the bedrooms. The light in the main bedroom attached to the fan did not even work! Clearly this had not been checked prior to our arrival. Also noted was the state of the dishes - again see photos attached the cups were filthy and looked as though they had not been washed! Odd numbers of glasses, bowls and no spatula to cook with.... Cleanliness of the apartment is also something I would highlight that needs to be looked at the windows and glass balcony railing were filthy. I understand it had been raining but this was a build up of dirt. The booking confirmation stated that the two bedroom apartment would have 1 queen bed in the main bedroom and two double beds in the second bedroom - however our second bedroom had one single and one double bed. I believe the information on the booking would be false advertising - the apartment was far from modern and the bedding configuration was not as stated in the booking confirmation!

Onsite managers were fantastic, very spacious apartment with great views of the ocean. Construction on adjoining block but did not interfere with our holiday - at the beach or out exploring. Tram stop right at the front of the building, easy access north or south.

Location and clean

Dishwasher was not working for the whole stay, I expected to get a discount or compensation on that, but nothing done

Beautiful, comfortable apartment with everything we needed. The location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.

Some of the furniture was a bit old and tired. The skirtings needed a bit of maintenance.

This property was fantastic. Beautiful decor and had everything you could want. Amazing ocean views. Tram at front door which was great. Pool and facilities were good

Need Aircon in bedrooms n insufficient toilet papers. Balconies should have little higher glasses

Great location as it was a short drive to the theme parks and shopping. I short tram ride into town and a 10min walk back. Parking was very good as well.

Everything is good including room kitchen lounge room.TV didn’t work properly.

The views

Completely missold - paid for a “sea view” apartment only to find it looking out to a construction site. Had to pay significantly more to move to a flat with actual sea views. Old facilities and dirty flat. Wiping surfaces with a wet wipe yielded so much dirt, don’t think the flat has been properly cleaned for a long time. The worst accommodation we stayed in using Booking.com.

My family loved the facilities at Hi Surf such as the pools, spas there, management kept the facilities spotless and refreshed. Such beautiful facilities and public spaces.

Our apartment that we booked is privately owned and rented out through hi-surf so it’s an owner issue. Soft furnishings were really dirty like the lounge, under it, under the cushions, the actual lounge cushions. Then the curtains, a broken blind, the bed pillows. There was stuff left in cupboards from owners, and nothing to cook with in the kitchen. The management at Hi surf were beautiful and gave me a mop to clean the floors without issue.

We had the best time. The apartment was amazing. Very clean, beds were very comfortable. The facilities were great. We will return and hoilday with you again.

Highly Disappointing!

Walking into an oceanfront apartment only to be met with a crane and construction crew directly facing us and in close proximity was not welcoming. We spoke to the property managers who told us it was in the fine print of our booking and there was nothing they could do. After going back to read the fine print it only mentioned that there was construction next door and there would be noise. No mention that the apartment would be directly facing the construction. That should have been boldly stated! We had no alternative but to book alternative accommodation. Very disappointing.

The two bed apartment had stunning views of the beach, it was a very spacious apartment and plenty of room for our two kids.

There is some construction going on right next to the building

The pools were excellent and the location being just across from the beach was so great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lifts were very fast and never busy.

Beds uncomfortable, unit is very old and outdated. No aircon in bedrooms. No TV in bedrooms. Outdoor furniture very uncomfortable. Sand all over balcony and in the blankets. And the noise from the construction was annoying.
