the room was tidy.

the reception was really hard to find and it made the beginning of our stay rather stressful.

Great location walking distance to everything!

Beds were not very comfortable really firm mattress, bottom sheet had black ink stain on it so either the housekeeper saw this and ignored it or didn’t change the sheets from the previous guest (was in a very obvious spot in the top / middle of sheet), housekeeper also didn’t see or ignored the previous guests rubbish (clothing tags and bikini bottom sticker) in the wardrobe, again not hidden. Would recommend more attention to detail from the cleaning team. Other than this good for a weekend stay.

The location was fantastic - would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Burleigh but a little removed from the hustle and bustle. Easy walk to everything you need.

I like this place as it’s so central , the bus stop is very close from the airport , so we do t need a car .

We only had one issue , we had the lights from the other block in our room all night , so room wasn’t dark at all .they don’t go off , they should be on a sensor ,

Location was great and I appreciate that parking is included in the booking. The staff were great on arrival and we were communicating before arrival and able to check in early.

Comfortable and clean bed, nice pool area, quiet surrounds.

Couch was dirty, soiled and felt grimy along with the floor Matt. We got a blanket out to cover it and a bandaid was stuck to the blanket. The unit had a smell like old or old musty smell. We advised staff on leaving. They just said thank you. We booked a superior room. We spoke to another couple same room type same cost and they said their room was beautiful. This room was disappointing rm 1048 and should not be classed as superior. Won’t be back unfortunately. Shower head seems to have fallen off h sure in that.

We have stayed here for over 10yrs but this trip the apartment was tired furniture broken, beds inner sprung mattress and extremely uncomfortable. Wi fi not working for most of our week. Vac not working as this is not a serviced apartment we could not clean up. The Swell has definitely gone downhill. Sorry guys

Location and rooms

I complained that wi-fi wasn’t working and no one came to fix it. I asked about it and they said it was on the maintenance list ?????They obviously didn’t do a follow up. We arrived 1 hour early to check in. Even though keys were in the lock box they said we couldn’t get them. My granddaughter had just had a spinal operation and had to sit around till 2pmWe then couldn’t find our room. Roamed around for ages. After speaking to other tenants they also said it was confusing and staff wasn’t very good with instructions.

Staff & facilities both excellent. Swimming pool excellent.

Apartment could have been cleaner with better crockery.

Location

Current tram line works. During the day was fine but the night works were very disruptive especially to the children. Hard to get a goodnight sleep.

Swell Resort is clean and convenient. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. The location was fabulous as everything was in walking distance and I mean 3-4 minutes. The pool was great. Staff were friendly. The car was secure in a locked undercover garage.

The lifts are small and a bit slow which gets a bit stifling in the heat.

Pool and BBQ area very nice and well maintained. Our room was in a great location

Our Check in wasn’t available until 3.30. The lift on level 5 wasn’t working which meant we had to use the stairsThe water was unavailable for a couple hours There is not a community area that is available after 9pm to gather if you are in a group. Residents were not very friendly

Truly had an amazing stay, great location, nice spacious rooms, we really felt comfortable.

Only thing we wish the apartments had was a good frying pan and a sharp knife otherwise nothing.

Pool and location to shops

Unfortunately, due to construction of the light rail on the highway directly below our unit, it was extremely difficult to sleep due to noise and flood lights coming into the property - all hours of the day AND night. Noise during the day also meant you could not be in the unit without the door closed to avoid unpleasant noise. Also meant air con had to be run constantly, and fresh sea breezes could not be taken advantage of.

Close to Main Street and beach

Cutlery, plates, etc were not clean. Dishwasher has bad odour and doesn’t clean properly. Grumpy residents watching every move.

Walking distance to everything

The construction site attracted a few dodgy people looking in cars in the car park across the road.

Very well located for the beach, bars, and shops in Burleigh Heads. We were placed in the corner facing the pool which was a very quiet spot. Reception wasn’t open on Sunday afternoon when we arrived so picked keys up from a lockbox. Instructions left with the keys for car parking were clear and easy to follow.

Decor was slightly dated. Bed was two singles zipped together which I always find uncomfortable. Kitchen was a hodgepodge of different sized glasses, cutlery, plates etc.

Parking was included.

"Fresh" towel were soiled with blood - requested a response from manager - no response received yet (4 days!)Too many items require maintenance - broken tv cable, broken clothes airer - won't stand upright, electric clothes dryer doesn't count down and time out! - fire danger! Refuse / bin chute room smells - as in STINKS out the floor.The commercial bins for the complex get emptied at 541AM every day - it will wake you - no need for alarm clock.Once upon a time this would have been a good location. Now built out, a lot of long term noisy construction around the area. Had I known all this I would have gone elsewhere.It felt like I was living in someones investment with cheap items for presentation where the owner comes a every so often and unlocks the cupboards for their stuff to stay.
