The Waterford on Main Beach

Perfect place to stay, lovely staff, very clean, great facilities, fabulous apartment.

The location and views of the ocean and river are outstanding. The apartment offered everything needed for our stay. Perfectly situated at the quite end of Surfers Paradise.

The apartment wasn't as clean as could be. Dust on the wall and picture over the main bed. Popcorn on the floor under couch in loungeroom. Both toilet seats were very loose and the doorknob in second bathroom hanging off.

Great view, outdoor pool and hot tub were great, plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Right across from the water which had an amazing walking track

Property was great but booked a 2 or so months in advance and the weather wasn’t the best (raining all weekend)

The views from our apartment were breath taking, stunning views from every room, loved waking up in the morning, looking out to the sunrise from the sea from our bed, huge surround patio doors from the master bedroom, all staff were so friendly & helpful. Everywhere very clean & tidy, plenty of utensils for cooking, good to have a parking bay in the garage below. We enjoyed using the gym & lovely warm heated swimming pool & hot pools, alot of the time we had them to ourselves. Would definitely return for another visit.

Location is fabulous. No apartment building hindering your view of the ocean and reasonable walking distance to both Surfers and Teddar Avenue. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Apartment was wonderful and we felt at ease as soon as as we walked through the door. It had everything you might need during your stay.

Internet connection could have been better. Sometimes it would drop out and we couldn't always get it back on straight away. However, everything else about the apartment was so good that this did not dampen our holiday.

The view was incredible! Surfers and Pac Fair were an easy walk (or a convenient ride on the light rail) away. The area was so quiet - perfect for a real break away from it all!

Lovely apartment and views were incredible of main beach. Great size as well. Also brilliant location to the beach and short walk to tedder street with loads of restaurants/cafes.

Checking in out of hours wasn't made clear of what I needed to do. It was sorted quickly and the receptionist was friendly.

Room was very dated and very dirty is said is you stayed over a week your room would be cleaned but our room wasn't cleaned during our 10 day stay and was dirty to start with

The location and space were amazing. The views were incredible. Staff were friendly and accomodating to extra requests. So close to the beach, great little pool area. Nice and quiet (except for the surf).

Exceptional view, lovely staff, perfect location, across from the beach, minutes from a great selection of cafes, a pool, a sauna, tennis courts.

It would be good to have the option of the twin single beds being put together to make a double/queen bed to cater for a second adult who is not a partner or spouse (eg two friends staying together).

Beautiful view, right across the street from the ocean. The apartment was newly renovated and was fresh and clean. The host, Emma, was wonderful: helpful, informative, friendly.

Timing of our stay was right before the weekend of the Gold Coast Grand Prix car races, so there were spectator stands set up everywhere, streets were blocked off. We were surprised that there weren't any cafes and restaurants along the beach - everything was "inland". We flew Jetstar from Sydney to the Gold Coast -- Jetstar ruined the beginning of our holiday by delaying our flight by 4 hours without informing us until close to boarding time, which made us miss picking up the rental car and wasted the entire first day of our vacation. Our advice is to never fly Jetstar--their customer service is terrible.

Great location with easy access to everything you need. The apartments are spacious and fitted out with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. The pool facilities were also excellent.

The only very small downside is that the facilities are aging a little bit, so parts of the bathroom are not as nice as they could be.

We had 2 apartments on different floors. It was very inconvenient having to use keys to operate the lifts to move around the property

From the moment you enter the reception , peaceful music fills your ears lovely reception persons . When we stepped in the door of our apartment we were gobsmacked with the view. Loved the styling right up my alley. Beautiful bathrooms with views of the river behind us

Everything. The location, the views, the space in the apartment. It's located at the quieter end of Surfers Paradise, which was ideal. Lots of shops / cafés within a short stroll. Didn’t get chance to use pool, tennis court, gym etc, but they looked top notch. Very knowledgeable staff. Best view from a bathroom I think I've ever seen.

I would have given 10, but I did have to contact the host a few times to get my security deposit back. Would definitely stay there again next time, and for longer.
