Ideally located in Melbourne CBD, ibis Styles Kingsgate Hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from Southern Cross Station. The Hotel offers affordability and comfort and is perfect for the budget conscious traveler. Important notice, extensive hotel renovations are taking place until late 2025. You may experience disturbances and noise from 9:00 until 18:00 daily. The Kingsgate Hotel is just a short stroll to major city attractions including Marvel Stadium, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center, Crown Entertainment Complex and The Melbourne Aquarium. It is also located in the free tram zone offering easy access to the city's galleries and museums, the lively restaurant, café, and bar scene, the shopping district, Waterfront City, Queen Victoria Market, and plenty more. Off-site car parking (5 minute walk) can be arranged at our 24-hour reception desk (fees apply). All guest rooms have free unlimited Wi-Fi, are air-conditioned equipped with a desk, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, fridge, flat screen TV, a safety deposit box, and an private bathroom with a hairdryer. You can enjoy breakfast in the Kingsgate Café, and access to our small fitness center.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of AUD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Extensive hotel renovations are taking place until late 2025. - Price point and location. Excellent staff: courteous, friendly and allowed me a late checkout as I was v jet lagged flying in from the US.
