Leaving.

I wanted to love this hotel, but they made it too hard. It's rated three stars and priced as a four star hotel however it's a two star at best. Yes the lobby, breakfast room and corridors have been given a facelift but the room itself was shabby.

Advertised parking included but very limited so had to do paid street parking a few blocks away

Clean and vibrant hotel. Staff was terrific. They went a step further when I needed a favor.

Slow on getting a room. No early check in like many hotels. Spa was only like warm.

Parking spot offered to me in the hotel was very tight and not convenient. difficult to park and get in and out of the car. If you drive a compact car this will not apply.Also, there are free parking spots in front of the hotel (very convenient) or in the public parking, which only charges few hours of the day and you can manage and pay by the app.

Great location on the Promenade du Soleil, off to the west of the center allows it to be relatively quiet, but also very close and accessible to all of Menton. 10 minutes walk takes you to the marketplace, and just a bit more to the main beach, but there’s also a swim beach close by. It’s an easy 10-minute walk from the train, as well - just walk down the hill to the beach and turn right for a few blocks. There is a very nice rooftop with an expansive view, lounge chairs, and a dipping pool that is wonderful for relaxing. The breakfast is not only reasonably priced, but beautifully presented, with a wide selection of delicious choices. It’s a great value for the extensive array, if you’re feeling hungry for more than a coffee and pain de chocolat. The staff was helpful and friendly, and there’s even a little bar in the lobby where you can enjoy a drink or take it up to the rooftop and sip it in the moonlight.

We had to leave.

Took the train to Monaco and Italy. Great location. Beautiful view from balcony. Close to old town. Will be back.

The bathroom had a foul odor starting the 2nd day of our stay. Perhaps a plumbing issue.

The staff were friendly and always ready to answer your questions. Loved that they spoke Italian. Loved that every room had a balcony.

Room was clean but the baseboards needed to be wiped down just a bit dust but very visible.

The hotel is very good located, close to a private beach . Breakfast is excellent, everything is fresh. The beds are very comfortable and room nice and very clean. Me and my daughter enjoyed the spa which we used in the last 2 days and the view from there is like a dream. The staff is very friendly we received always very good recomandation, thank you for that. I definitely recomand the hotel. I almost forgot, the lemon water from the lobby is very tasty and special.

What could be better than the view from Riva Hotel. A perfect situation to swim, relax and enjoy Menton

Wonderful location right in front of the water with beach access below. Very clean and modern room.

The pillows are a little uncomfortable.

Staff was helpful with any request, breakfast was excellent and rooms and hotel was very clean.

The hotel is located on a busy road. There is no chance of sleeping with the windows open if you select the mountain view. The A/C in the room is also very loud,so the staff kindly lent us a fan which worked a treat.

A small hotel by the water. Good size room with a balcony and sea view. Love the lemon water in the lobby. Great staff.

It’s a little farFrom old town Menton and takes about 20 min to walk there. They don’t provide beach towels ?
