The location & price.

No, it was exactly as I expected in this price range.

The room had a good AC system and it was very clean.

The location was far from all the attractions and the beach. Very bad wifi! The connection is weak and slow. You need to reconnect very often and half the time it doesn’t allow you to connect to the wifi. There was very limited facilities. The shower was very small and it was difficult to stop the water from spilling out of the shower.

Near the railway station, the Casino, 10 minutes walk from the beach and the promenadeSupermarket on the way, restaurants, boulangeries

Advertise paid parking on the internet in their parking garage. I said I needed one. When you arrive tell you it is full. Have the book open on their desk saying at check in you can get it. But no, it is full. Have to drive around for 30 minutes to try to park 1/4 mile away.

Disappointing

Parking was not by the hotel and an extra cost, the room was tiny and really dull with a miserable view onto the car park behind. It’s a very old fashioned little hotel.

It's just 15 mins walk to the restaurants along the beach and 20 mins to the old town area.The motorbike parking was a very secure locked door unit within the gate secured underground parking.There's a set down area at the hotel door and sat nav delivered me straight there with no problems.

Clean room, friendly staff, walking distance from the center.

It is the French Riviera, but it is very expensive for what they offer. The room is pretty small and basic and the hotel is a bit old school. And you pay +120€ for that. Parking is also 16€ extra and having a pet 10€ extra. Apparently, breakfast is not included but we did not try it.

Everybody working at the hotel, as well as whole neighborhood, was super friendly, polite and welcoming. We had no problems with staff speaking English. They were always available and more than ready to help with any inquiry. Hotel doesn't feel crowded and has all needed amenities.

The staff was so nice and friendly, the place was near the beach and the train station

?⛔️ - if you want to be beaten, cursed and tricked, this is the place where you can live this experience ❗️❗️❗️?⛔️- I had an unpleasant experience because of the receptionist who is violent and physically assaulted both me and my wife❗️❗️❗️?⛔️- he came to our room and attacked us with the reason of moving the car in front of the hotel, I moved the car and then he came again and started physically assaulting me. he pulled me and tore my shirt. I called the police and they found all this❗️❗️❗️

?⛔️the question is for the hotel, how can they hire such a character ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️he is a racist and crazy man who jumps to the beat❗️❗️❗️

It was pretty clean. They let us keep our bags before check-in and after check-out.

Our check-in experience felt like a joke, to be honest. We arrived late in the evening and the man in the reception had absolutely no clue what he was doing. First it took 30 minutes to get the key because he didn’t know how much we were supposed to pay in tourist tax (in the end we paid more than the listed price). When we finally got the key and went to ”our room” that was someone else’s room. So we had gotten the wrong key and entered someone else’s room in the middle of the night! We went back and he showed us our new room but the key didn’t work so he said ”come with me and jump through the window”. Our door to the patio wasn’t possible to lock either. It says in the listing there are smoke detectors but there was none in our room. Overall it did not feel as a safe experience.Our toilet seat was broken and the shower missed a door. Overall I do not feel like this ”hotel” is worth the money.

Close to the station, not far from the town centre . Safe area beautiful views.

I didn’t like anything about this hotel. It’s not even a two star hotel!

The location was far from downtown and tourist attraction. There was nothing around the hotel. No view from rooms. The hotel was old with old furniture. The room smell so bad.

The hotel is a good value for money, not too far from the beaches and the center. We booked a triple room to have more space (rate was similar)

Room was clean

I paid extra for a balcony, it was a window with a railing across. The air conditioning did not work. There is no onsite parking. It’s a $16 euro a night lot, a couple blocks away. The “coffee pot” was a pay machine in the lobby that did not work. The first employee I dealt with was incredibly rude at check in. The lady in the morning was lovely, you could tell she was accustomed to soothing dissatisfied guests in the morning. This hotel met none of the promises that attracted me to book. The promise of Parking, air conditioning, patio, and coffee machine are all misleading.

That room no 106 with balcony! Bed was comfortable, we slept really well.

Bathroom is a bit too small.

Easy walk to the train station (5 mins), a little bit longer to the beach (10-15mins). Bed was comfortable. Didn’t have the brekky but it looked good when I had a sticky beak!

Room was very small (thank goodness we had a balcony). Showing its age. Bathroom tiny. Can’t complain really though - was one of the cheapest hotels in Menton!
