We loved the balcony!!!! Nice walk to town and close to the beach. Breakfast was good.

This hotel is example how the staff can ruin everything related to family holiday.We have plan this trip over 7 weeks ago and we went all my family - 6 adults and 2 kids.We have booked and prepaid trough booking.com three rooms - breakfast and dinner included.After the dinner - they have asked us to pay for the dinner. During the check out - theu have asked us to pay again for the rooms. We have extremely big arguing - showing our prepaid voucher but the staff was extremely staborn and absolutely not friendly. Even we have reached to the point that we will call the Police that they are trying to charge us double.. After long, long discussions - finally they have realise that they have make a mistake but no any apologize or whatsover by them.I am using booking.com in a years but such horrible situation never ever happen before.

The restaurant food is excellent. The siting area in front of the reception is very welcoming & the restaurant faces the sea with outdoor seating available.All the staff are friendly and very helpful

Our stay will be memorable!! From the start to the end, especially thanks to the restaurant staff (Litsa, Aline, chef) for the service,the smile the food quality and quantity. One more tick for Sylvie at the reception for all the information and positive vibe. Defenatly we will come back ?

Not enough days?. Needed a bit more

I was delighted with my two night stay at Hotel Le Dauphin, with a splendid view of the sea and nearby beaches, and on the first floor. The hotel was clean throughout and in a perfect location, near the city centre of Menton. I also loved the food for supper, although it was fairly expensive. But I would very much like to stay here again, perhaps within the next few weeks. Many thanks to everyone.

No complaints at all.

We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean. It's an older property, and the room was updated and clean. The furniture placement was tight. If you plan on using the work desk, you might have to move something. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the train station and maybe 10 - 15 minutes from the town center where we found a nice beach area by the harbor. Sylvia at the front desk was patient with all our questions, and her assistance made our stay.

We attempted to order dinner from the downstairs restaurant. But after being directed to a table for service, no one came, so we went elsewhere. There seemed to be a shortage of staff, so we didn't want to push it.

Terrible road noise as the rooms are right on top of extremely busy and noisy main road. Deafening noise and fumes of cars, motorbikes, scooters and trucks all day and night even with windows closed. We asked to be moved higher but hotel is only bottom 2 floors of a 6 storey building so facing relentless traffic.

The location was amazing, there is also a lot of public parking available around the hotel which was affordable (around 12€/day). The staff was really nice especially the front desk lady at check-in (Silvia i believe was her name), very friendly and helpful with tips to help us get around and make the most of our trip. Room was clean, well maintained and looked like it was recently renovated

Some of the staff didn’t speak any english, which i find as a minus in the hospitality business

Friendly small hotel with rooms right along the sea front. Our room with a balcony was lovely.. One receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly.

The road along the coast was a bit noisey but the views made up for it! The safe in the room didn't work (but we were offered use of the manager's office safe) . The patio doors onto the balcony didn't lock.

Location near every thing.the view from large window and sound of the waves was charming.the room size is good.staff very helpful and friendly.The breakfast room very bright facing the sea .

Bed was little unconfortable and there was some traffic noise, this time we were on the first floor, earlier we where more up, there the traffic was not so disturbing.

Small room for 3 people, only partly renovated, only public parking

Fabulous position. Walk over the road for a swim. You can hear the waves from your room.The bed was comfortable.

The hotel is tired and the furniture needs replacing. The staff, with the exception of one , never smiled or connected with us. The breakfast was average. There is no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms so you rely on the bar staff to make you one. We were told at 8.45pm that they couldn't make us a coffee.The basin in our bathroom didn't drain properly. However, you get what you pay for.

The accommodation was beautiful, clean and with a wonderful view, the staff very nice and helpful, everything on 1. I would also highlight the kitchen, the chef cooked excellent meals.

Small room

We knew it would be close to the sea, but we were pleasantly surprised that we could hear the waves from our balcony. The doors were soundproof, and it was lovely because the street is noisy.The cleaning lady came everyday to clean the room and change our towels. Overall the experience was awsome. We would defenetlly come back.

Amazing sea view from the balcony. Great location on main promenade of Menton. Walking distance to restaurants and beach.

Hotel is still undergoing renovation. We might have gotten lucky that we stayed over the weekend because Monday morning we were woken up by loud drilling noises from the upper floor. It is very 3 star, facilities look functional but nothing too fancy. Some rough edges could be refined like cobwebs on some corners of the balcony, AC not working intermittently, etc. Breakfast was very mediocre, please at least improve the scrambled eggs.

Great friendly staff, couldn't fault the hotel.Location approx. 10 minutes from the Casino and close to the Riva Hotel and Big Boss bar.Balcony great, but you will get some road noise.Ps,Hope the chamber maid found the 3 bars of unopened artisan chocolate we forgot about and left in the mini bar !

Shower was only a waist high one unless you hold it above your head. No big deal though.

A very nice stay in this lovely independent hotel. The room was very clean and fairly spacious with a good shower. The view from the room/balcony was fabulous. Bar area and terrace were very nice and the staff were excellent notably Martel and Felisha. Will visit again.
