    Pros +

    • We booked here at the last minute and checked in late evening. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very nice, with a boutique style, spa, pool, rooftop bar, and restaurant.
    • In front of train station.
    • The location was good, that is it, everything else was very bad

    Cons -

    • Our room was nice and clean; however, it was warm and stuffy. Because we went in the spring, the air conditioning was "turned off" for the building, and we had to sleep with the patio door open. This was an issue for many reasons, most importantly, our patio was adjacent to the fire escape and was an easy climb over for someone to get into our room. We were offered another room. However, the patios were only separated by a small partition and could have had the same issue, but with a neighbor, we took our chances with the fire escape. All was well enough. We were two people with one towel and a load of hand towels, and the shower leaked.
    • Very old inside, very small shower
    • I had bugs in my room, shower was full of mold with cracked tiles, bed was like sleeping on cardboard and then was no iron available when requested.

This was my first stay after a long internaional travel and so I decided to choose a comfy hotel. And sure it was very comfortable with the silence and though the hotel itself feels a bit dated, it is the best value for money property in my opinion. Will definitely go back in April

    8MarinaPosted on: 3-5-2025

The breakfast and location are excellent

    The bed wasn't convinient

    7NataliiaPosted on: 11-2-2024

Rooms are spacious enough, additional covers and a pillow were available, the staff was really gentle and available. wifi OK

For 4-star hotel I expected the slippers in the room, and a better breakfast (the food was average, considering an excellent Italian cuisine in the restaurants around). The towels were changed even if I did not asked for it, as they were clean. Just one shampoo-bath in the shower, no hair conditioner, and the hair drier is pretty old.

Convenient location. Kind stuff. Good breakfast.

    Rooms are a bit dated.

    Excellent breakfastComfortable bedQuiet roomExcellent location

Squeaky doors Lack of natural light in bedroomOverpriced entry for pool, never mentioned a cost in advertisement

Great location opposite the train station. Nice and clean and the staff were friendly

    5PaoloPosted on: 7-29-2024

    Good location, parking available

Facilities are outdated, few things were not working in the room (air conditioning, lights, door).

    10GinkyPosted on: 4-12-2024

Staff was extremely helpful. The room was quite warm as air conditioning wasn’t working yet so they changed our room to a cooler oneWe dined in the restaurant attached to hotel and it was delicious with some of the best waiting staff I’ve ever experienced. Definitely worth going back just for that

    8SandraPosted on: 10-25-2023

Good sized room, very nice breakfast. Close to old town

Our room was very dark. The walls were painted Avery dark colour and there weren’t enough lights

Nice stuff, good location, nice garden

The place is a little outdated, needs renovation, bad air in the room, breakfast is good but nothing more than that, I didn’t use spa, but I noticed it is not private (you can look inside and enter from the garden)

    7RosemariePosted on: 10-1-2023

Parking was great. Facilities were clean and everything functioned.

Very outdated. Felt some springs or something in the mattress.

    9BasilPosted on: 8-17-2023

Excellent value for money, great location, helpful staff, comfortable room, good wifi and breakfast, pool available.

As per other reviews, the hotel would benefit from some renovation for aesthetic reasons (the room was perfectly comfortable).

    6AlisonPosted on: 8-16-2023

The staff were lovely, the location is ideal for enjoying Umbrian countryside, positioned beside the train station is great for arrival and departure from Terni.

The rooftop restaurant is advertised, but it wasn't explained it was closed. There was no information in the room to explain some of the facilities. The room that I ordered via Booking.com was supposed to have certain views, balcony etc and this was not the case.

    9GiorgioPosted on: 7-3-2023

Great location close to the station and the center - and absolutely no noise from trains, very quiet

    6MichaelPosted on: 6-22-2023

    The people

Very small shower. AC was sub-parNo English speaking on TVSmall fridge

    7RobPosted on: 5-22-2023

good, location, price and comfortable room

noise from staff setting up level 5 restaurant from about 4am. lots of banging and loud voices (we were on L4)

    9VittorioPosted on: 9-26-2022

Checking in and out was quite straightforward. Dinner and breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly. Our room was quiet considering we were on the corner suite opposite the train station and had all the facilities needed for a one night stay and the bed was reasonably comfortable although would have preferred softer pillows.

Probably nothing as we were quite satisfied overall. The rooms looked a little old and dated and could do with some renovations but this is only a personal observation. Other guests may quite like the overall appearance of Hotel Michelangelo Palace and Spa as it is.
