Timemachine-like Napoleonic architecture, kind staff, super clean pool, all tidy, green surrounding, great price

AC wasn't working but only the first night, they sent a technician immediately after claiming who fixed it up, appreciated!

Did not like having to fill in a piece of paper to order my dinner at least 2 hours prior. Food selection was minimal and staff did not even ask if we wanted something to drink. I had to ask for drinks and no additions to the food could be ordered. This should have been explained when we make reservations. It seems like food was precooked and then just heated up.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful setting and relaxing property. Spa access and exceptional breakfast included.

The restaurant is not open in the off season (April), and there were no open restaurants in town, so we had to drive over an hour to find dinner. The receptionist didn’t warn us, and every place she suggested were closed. They should offer food when they know there’s no food in town.They should also upgrade the halls and lobby like they did the rooms. It’s very outdated in the lobby, and the hallways are dark with flickering lights.

The new renovated rooms are excellent! Also the food was delicious and amazong view from roof terrace. Close to waterfalls.

Hotel itselfs is very outdated. The new rooms are great, however corridors, roof terrace, lobby, restaurant very much need an upgrade.

Don't expect too much

Very poor breakfast offering. Restaurant was unappealing both in size and ambiance - despite the heat we chose to walk 40 minutes to the town for our evening meal. Basically this hotel offered a decent room but not much else.

Amazing place. The view is so beautiful. The hotel is getting old but charm is still there.

Very small spa. They only let in 6 people at a time and you had to prebook your time slot. For a spa resort, they only had one massage therapist .The restaurant view was beautiful and the dinner and breakfast was great.

The hotel provided the refuge we needed. The room was comfortable and quiet. The shower was good. Decent breakfast buffet.

It felt past its prime. The photos gave us the impression that this hotel was nicer than it was. The staff person checking us on seemed annoyed with us while the check out crew were very friendly. No lake access. The roof top bar was not open. The hotel was not in town and without an easy walking path to get into town. For the price we expected more.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa was lovely and it was very quiet as it was before peak season. The location is great however having a car was a big positive.

The hotel claims to have air conditioning but when we asked how to use it they said it’s too early in the season so just open the windows but close the shades so the bugs don’t get in (the bugs still got in). It was so hot that we struggled to sleep and continued waking up all night. The bed was very hard.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel advertisements give a false impression. The hotel is dated and needs a facelift. There were a few funny things, eg ‘the bar is open 24/7’ but no bartender until you ask. It was a bit expensive for what it was. But we had fun

The breakfast was really good and the view of the room was amazing. Also, the lake where it is located is fantastic and if you do your research well, there is a lot to do in summer.

the staff when we entered were a bit rude - but the receptionist the next day was much better. The spa facilities were a bit disappointing and the lift is old. Also their terrace restaurant was closed

Beautiful lake view, nice and relaxing SPA

Air conditioning centrally controlled so guests can't change the room temperature. Breakfast could be improved, especially the coffee machine quality. Furthermore, the presence of a step at the bathroom entrance can represent a hazard to guests safety.
