- Book the suite you only live once it?s really nice
- Super nice staff in a grand old hotel.
- Everything was good
Cons -
- No - all good
- The tea cups were rinsed and replaced versus clean cups.
- 1. Parking space is not assigned to each room - this is what you do not expect from a 5-star hotel. We had to be very convincing to get our car parked for 2 nights2. There was a loud night party in the restaurant - we had to call the management twice after 23.003. ‘SPA’ has sauna, steam room (was switched off - they are saving on this) and only 6(!) sunbeds. There was just no room to stay there4. ‘Gym’ is a tiny room with a treadmill, bicycle and some other device.

Fantastic location, definitely the best in town

Beautiful, old historic building in the best location of town. Great views and steps to everything. Staff was very helpful and professional especially Giacomo
Property is a little worn but is being renovated. One wing of the hotel has modernized rooms while the back of the building still has old world charm rooms
The rooms with a view and balcony are fantastic. The swimming pool in the cellar is one of a kind and the breakfast buffet is at 5 star level.
Great location. Staff were all very nice.
The room key most times didn’t work. We had to go down to the front desk several times for replacement to. Very annoying they can’t fix that!
The staff well most of then
No room service after 11pm Not good for technically 5 star hotel. This was more like a 4 star hotel.
The staff was amazing, view was amazing, location was amazing !!!
That we couldn’t stay longer?
Excellent location. Excellent value. Beautiful accommodations. Very friendly staff.
Love the room and the location is a gorgeous setting.
Totally convenient! The only thing that was difficult is that the beds were absolutely the hardest beds we have ever slept on.
The location- the swimming pool- the atmosphere-
the breakfast should have been all inclusive (buffet breakfast- but with optional orders of items that were very pricy - I did not see anyone order these)
good central location, easy to get to
The mattress was like a rock! Invest in better mattresses
I absolutely loved the location, the room and the swimming pool/Turkish bath . Breakfast was a real treat in the sense that there was a very large selection of food to indulge in, both savoury and sweet, however not all was particularly good (pancakes and espresso coffee were really disappointing). The staff was very kind and helpful
Lack of hygienic restrictions in accessing the swimming pool / spa . Anybody could walk in wearing clothes/ shoes, rather than proper slippers/bathrobes, despite the fact that a sign on the wall forbade it. The cleaning staff was eccessively zealous, nervously entering the room at any time to clean it. For the first time in my life I had to hang the " do not disturb" card on the door to make sure they didn't come in while I was in.
Wonderful hotel, magnificent views of the country side. Staff very helpful with parking my car. Easy access to city.
The large room decorated in warm colors. Quiet. Good breakfast. Valet parking.
Pool and sauna very small but beautifully done deep under the hotels foundation.
Location and easy access to find it. Very nice staff and very comfortable room.
Very old selections at the breakfast buffet.
Grand old building with feel of history in unique location and very central to location.
Very clean room with fresh towels and furniture. Best window view
At winter time, it was a little bit cold inside the room
