Hotel il Cigno

To reach the hotel from the minimetro, it takes at least 15 minutes of walking, and unfortunately, this journey goes through a steep hill. It was difficult to go up with a backpack. To get to the nearest market, unfortunately, you have to use the same route again.

The hotel staff are angels, but the hotel is rated quite low. It's 4 km from the city centre, but a bus stop right in front makes it super easy to reach the train station and historic centre.

What I didn’t like about the hotel was the constant noise, even late in the evening. You could hear sounds from other rooms, people walking in the corridors, and even the flushing from other bathrooms.

only we could say that my husband is quite tall 188cm, he had to be careful to move, because he could touch his head at the ceiling

The hotel is in an excellent location relative to the city, in a quiet place. The room was very spacious.

The shower was small and it was a big problem for an adult to get into the shower. There were no soaps and shampoo and the water flow was very weak.

Handy for us, as we were traveling - it was just off the main route. Dog friendly - traveling with a small dog.

Not sure about where the parking was - we parked at the front door (1 space) ... there was no where else that we could see. Breakfast was in an old pizzeria next door (I think the hotel carried on upstairs). which was NOT inviting, nor 100% clean (for any food delivery/presentation!)

Good parking for car. Good basic restaurants nearby. Frendly Owner.

Refrigator was warm but it had good light. Neighbours dog was barkin early. Othervice ok basic hotel, clean rooms and facilities. Problem with credit card payment( transaction error with 2 different credit cards) .

Great location, close to the mini metro and has a restaurant and shop next door. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed, the air conditioning was amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful, Donnatella was great with booking our taxis for us.

The beds were a little bit to hard to sleep on and the location is a bit far from the train station but it was just fine for a night in Perugia

Comfortable, clean.

Hair dryer burned out, when I showered it flooded the bathroom, too far away from everything, no blankets and it was cold, and no exhaust fan, no heater.

Great hotel - we stayed in the family room and it was clean and very spacious. While not in the centre of the city, it is within an easy 10min walk of the Madonna Alta Minimetro that gets you straight into the city centre conveniently and cheaply. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went into town for that. Very friendly owners who allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel and collect them later.

A very minor maintenance niggle with the button controlling one of the aircon units being broken (but we managed to get it to work).

Nice staff, good room (often cleaned), with all facilities, including a free parking.

Many of the technical facilities need some maintenance (including internet) and breakfast could be improved.

The hotel was comfortable for my needs. Super friendly staff
