Very helpful staff, comfortable room, great restaurant. Traveling with brother in wheelchair, good facilities.

The air conditioning, as with many European hotels, turned off at night. We were able to make up for it by opening the window, but in summer, without screens, you can't do that because of the bugs.

Wow! What a breakfast buffet! Great cappuccino. The people were all friendly and accommodating. The underground parking was a huge plus! I enjoyed the chocolate themed decor, also.

The location, too far from town. Either 25 mins up a very steep hill or 15 mins to mini metro.

The stay was very pleasant, the staff kind and helpful. The breakfast was very appropriate given the name of the hotel.

A few more vegetables and salads at breakfast would have also been appreciated.

Shower head kept falling off but just needs tightened. Could do with a few moveable/adjustable umbrellas on the roof because there is absolutely no shade.

Restaurant staff was very rude in the evening as i asked for a table early, but being a single traveler, they said no. Also I requested a tub.

The breakfast was incredible, with a huge selection and very high quality. After experiencing their breakfast, we asked to stay an extra day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean.

The bathroom window would not open and close properly. The bathroom was a bit old fashioned.

The hotel's theme is chocolate as the name suggests. They have a huge breakfast buffet around chocolate theme. If you have sweet tooth, this hotel is for you. There is also a chocolate shop in the lobby area.

The hotel is a bit old, and a bit far away from the center of Perugia.

Buffet looks extensive but too much dessert and sweets and quality does suffer. Convenient and less than a kilometer to the train station. Bus stop gives easy access to the old town

A bit dated and needs some renovation. It’s a cool place if you have kids who might enjoy the chocolate themed property and breakfast.

The breakfast was great! We came there just to try the breakfast buffet they were good about. The room was decent, considering the price for the room and breakfast included, it was worth the money.

Such a fun hotel to stay in. We just did one night. After arrival, we parked our car at the Perugia stadium parking and went into the town. The front desk helped us to know where to park which was nice. You get chocolate upon check-in at the hotel. The rooms are basic but cute. Breakfast was amazing, awesome, overwhelming. So much to choose from, one can't possibly taste everything. Chocolate, sweets, pastries, fresh juices, also some savory things like rolls, eggs, cheese. Our 13 year old son really enjoyed staying here.

Is a unique opportunity to meet an icon, a chic-chocolate based environment, close to everything you may need, with a pool, a cocoa-based restaurant (yep, all entries are cocoa based, delicious) and the BEST, literally, THE BEST breakfast experience you can get in the heart of the chocolate’s kingdom, Perugia.

I hope there will be a plan to invest in modern mattress technology in the future. Now are comfortable, that would be the next generation of hospitality.

We are delighted with our stay, the first impression is already great. Delicious and wonderful breakfast, well-kept hotel, clean and nice rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can leave your luggage before check-in. Good location, close to the mini metro. I hope to visit again someday.
