The environment is not easy. There are many rules and steps for guests. It's difficult to navigate inside the hotel. Doves eat my food outside. There are old beach umbrellas and beach chairs. Breakfast is not the best. The coffee is disgusting...

even after booking months ahead, our two rooms could not even be arranged on the same floor. breakfast is 'global mass tourism fare', at times the crunch of people exceeds capacity.

The room is spacious with a breathtaking view, and the cleaning standards are good. The breakfast was enjoyable, especially the omelettes and occasionally fresh fruits.Amazing gym with all necessary equipment and a great team!

The butter was packaged in small, non-recyclable plastic containers, which is not environmentally friendly.There is no 80-90 degrees sauna, only 60.Whether intentional or not, I was overcharged almost three times more the correct price at the restaurant. Unfortunately, despite attempting to resolve this issue twice, I did not receive any refund.

I liked our room very spacious and that the buffet breakfast was included.

We didn't have much we didn't like. The nightly entertainment could have been a bit better but not a big deal.

We landed up not staying as our flight got rescheduled to the same day but we checked in and used what they call the spa and went to the room which was extremely spacious - rather large actually with a gorgeous view over the oceanLocation is lovely, along the ocean

What they call the spa, should just be called an indoor pool filled with noisy children and uncomfy chairs. Checkin experience was pretty average and not the usual friendly checkin we get when we travel to Madeira

There was no wifi signal in my room and elsewhere at the hotel. Neither the staff when contacted was able to help. But my iPhone functioned normally when I moved outside the hotel. Anywhere in the area and elsewhere.

Stayed then next door in their affiliate hotel and they really need a revamp badly... but this one is great!

Exceptional breakfast - the variety of food was amazing. Very nice staff, great room and amazing views. Great value for money!

We ordered a sea view room but got just partial view.The staff on reception didn’t change a room for us.

Food was good. Location excellent. Seeing a folk group in full swing was a very pleasant surprise.Staff at breakfast extremely attentive and helpful.

Some items we expected to find were not there ie a tray and small coffee cups.Lack of pictures on walls or any decorative items.

- hot tub / jacuzzi with cold water - indoor swimming pool open only until 18.30- studio with a kitchen is not equiped with a dish soap/sponges (guests are supposed to buy it themselves)- 'free' shuttle bus to Funchal (mentioned in the description) costs 5 euro one way

Nice place overall, we had a room with a sea view with sunsets and sunrises. Spacious rooms with a kitchen, looks like brand new. Good wifi connection. Parking lot will cost you 5€ extra per day. Close to the airport and to Funchal. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot small cafes and restaurants close by with very good food.

Breakfast was not bad but crowded since the restaurant serves for 3 quite big hotels. Access to the ocean is limited, pools are small and shallow so don’t rely on them if you like to swim. Audience mainly german speaking 50+ couples, don’t if it’s good or bad for you, just an observation.

A feeling the place is recently built and could be slightly more comfortable, more classy.Very austere, basic.

Terrific view from the room and excellent location! Spaceous room with kitchenette and big balcony. Amazing SPA, pools (outdoor and indoor (really warm!) and tanning areas on the rocks. Quality gym.

Breakfasts could be way better. Not what you usually expect in 4 stars hotel. Especially fruits - canned peach, canned pineapple. On the island of everlasting spring with plenty of fresh fruits any time of the year. There were no bathrobes and slippers in the room
