    Pros +

    • Access to all inclusive facilities
    • Staff were absolutely amazing, facilities were beautiful and in full working order. Food was beautiful every single day.
    • The food and bars were good and so was the pool area and personel.

    Cons -

    • The receptionists were not welcoming:(This once stylish and outstanding hotel is now 35 yrs and desperatly needs renovating. The gym, spa and sauna are last century's.
    • The coffee for the breakfast was not good.
    • The only thing I would change is I would skip the loud animation and music around the pools between 2 and 5pm but a lot of guests seem to join in.

    - Super friendly and helpful Reception Manager- All-inclusive package that covers everything, including drinks- Good quality food with plenty of fish, fresh fruits, and veggies- Flexible, including the possibility of having lunch after checkout- Upgraded to a great room on the 10th floor with an ocean view- Nice, refreshing infinity pool- Amazing kids club with fantastic animators (Bea, Eduarda, and Vanessa)- Affordable babysitting service

    - Limited garden space (only small areas of greenery)- The hotel is a large development, and dinners can feel busy and noisy- Spa/wellness area is rather average

Public rooms other than restaurant excellent - food excellent

Dining room like a works canteen.Food excellent other than breakfast orange juice which was poor

Atlantico was excellent! The Italian was less friendly with less choices for the evening. The Madeiran were ok but only have a set meal with no offer of a choice either.

Menues could be more flexible at resturants apart from the Atlantico where staff were really friendly and helpful.

The staff was superb and incredibly attentive, they couldn't have done more for you. From carrying your suitcases, recommending drinks and things to do, they serve you always with a smile on their faces. The food was splendid, always changing buffet with plenty of options for anyone. And let's not forget the entertainment program and spa!

The only thing I found difficult to deal with were the ant colony in our hotel room. They made it difficult to leave out drinks for the night. Apart from that, though, everything was squeaky clean

Nice staff... good drinks... decent room

A bit dated...food was average and spa needs major renovation

Good selections of wine and premium spiritsVery nice pool and close to the sea and shops

I think the breakfast can improve with maybe some smoked salmon and local charcuterie which I would expect for a 5 stars resortAlso the specialities restaurants are open only few days which didn’t combine with our staying unfortunately

“Absolutely loved our stay! The food is fantastic, and the meal schedule is brilliantly designed so that there’s always something to munch on, practically 24/7. Trust me, kids won’t go hungry here. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all delicious. The pool is great, and for the cooler days, there’s a heated one to dive into — perfection! But honestly, the crown jewel of this hotel (aside from the fabulous pool) has to be the reception floor with the bar. It’s got comfy sofas, amazing cocktails, and a killer view. It’s the kind of bar where life is always buzzing. If you picture the perfect lobby bar, this is it!”

Very nice stay, location, rooms, facilities, food. Excellent for children and as a base to visit Madeira.

Quality of drinks, particuarly wine and coffee. Pillows not great, and parking spots very difficult to manoveur with family. All minor gripes.

The hotel was all-inclusive, which was very convenient. The room was comfortable, with refillable water bottles and three drinks in the fridge. We had an ocean-facing room with a wide, open view.

on the last day, my 7-year-old son suddenly fell ill. He had just fallen asleep at 11:30 am.so I contacted the front desk to ask if we could check out one hour later. The front desk said it wasn’t possible without a charge. In the end, I paid €180 to stay an additional three hours to let my son rest, though I found the price a bit high.

Our second time there… just wonderful!Extremely friendly staff and the hotel itself is just great.

It is not a problem, for it can happen but there was only one lift working.

    8StuartPosted on: 10-14-2024

The hotel for some reason seemed to attract older people which created a better enviorment for peace and quiet.

Had more pool accesible facilities - bar nearer to pool area.

    9ReilandPosted on: 10-3-2024

The hotel is good located, with a friendly staff. you have severall pools as well as a spa area. The food was very good and the room was clean. You could ask to get a keycard at the reception to enter the parking (for free).

Some of your staff made our wedding anniversary truly memorable, especially Mariana. :) Despite it being an extremely busy night, Mariana's gracious and calm demeanor made the experience unforgettable.

We arrived after midnight and were informed that there were snacks available on the 1st floor. However, when we went downstairs, we noticed a beautiful yellow/white cat on top of the counters where uncovered food was displayed.Additionally, we experienced issues with our TV and could not access the internet. There were also small ants in the bathroom. After requesting a room change, our request was accommodated.During our stay, we took three different tours on separate days and wanted to prepare sandwiches since we weren't having breakfast or dinner at the hotel. Unfortunately, the staff refused to provide us with any bags or boxes to bring our lunch along. Overall, the staff seemed tired, unhappy, and not focused on customer service.
