    Very pleasant.

Only one suggestion. I am a Cpap user. The plugs by the bed are only for the lamps. I would suggest keeping some extension cords at the front desk. And maybe adding a field to check in "do you use any durable medical equipment?"

Breakfast was great , dining room had great view and ambience , staff very professional, friendly , Bed very comfortable

Room didn’t have a usb outlet which was inconvenient - a bedside lamp with a port would be an easy fix AC in the room wasn’t very effective

Where its located and the staff

Broken tile in bathroom and floor needs regrouting bottom of shower screen tardy 24hrs humming of gym fan next to our window

Exceptional location and property! Staff were excellent.

Directions from the train station were a bit convoluted for walking with luggage. Found easier way with luggage for return to train station.

Location, very clean and well appointed rooms.

I was across a pedestrianised street, so not part of the actual hotel main building. Not familiar with Windsor, but felt rather exposed and vulnerable …. Once in my room all was ok.Heavy rain….. so going for breakfast had to wear a big rain coat and no where to hang it in the dining room.

Lovely hotel in perfect location situated right on the Thames & to visit castle

No parking & food in restaurant was expensive & really bad

The hotel is centrally located in Windsor. We had two double rooms, and both were equipped with clean and modern bathrooms. The main building has very nicely furnished common areas. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the water.

The hotel is located on a side street in a fairly central area of Windsor. However, it is not possible to stop in front of the hotel to unload luggage. The hotel parking area is about a 5–10 minute walk away. The rooms we were assigned were in a separate building and could only be reached via narrow staircases. Rooms 83 and 84 did not reflect the photos shown in the description. One of the rooms had low ceiling beams and felt very cramped. What we liked least was the strong odor in Room 84. It smelled extremely of frying grease and grilled food. We reported this at check-out, and the reception staff suggested it was probably coming from a nearby kebab shop. They assured us they would inform hotel management.

When I travel to the UK for business I generally stay at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel as it is a good, hotel as well as being well located to the UK office. Steff extremely helpful and friendly

    Location, food

Some rooms can be a little noisy due to passing foot traffic

    10DamienPosted on: 1-22-2026

The location was exceptional, all of the facilities were clean and well maintained, the room and bathroom was spotless- awesome shower

The hotel is situated across a couple of buildings which can be partly confusing and a bit disjointed BUT they have done a good job with sign posting and staff are friendly and helpful

    5SharonPosted on: 1-19-2026

The location of the hotel was very convenient.

The sheets were stained and I had to request them to be changed. In addition, the location of the room was extremely nosey as it was located near both the stairs up and down - hearing loud guests.

    8LindaPosted on: 1-19-2026

    Breakfast was excellent. I

I did not like that I had a ground level room facing the street. This meant I needed to keep the curtains closed for privacy.

    9MichellePosted on: 1-19-2026

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very well maintained and elegant. The staff are fantastic

The terrace restaurant closed too early

    Nothing obvious.

Staff service at breakfast was great.Great location.

Unfortunately there is no elevator, I slipped my hands and my luggage tumbled down through the stairs. Other than this, everything is well.

The view from my window over the river. Lovely hotel.

Only negative is parking which is short walk from hotel and additional charge.
