About
The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernized 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Some parts date back as far as 1135 and it has kept some of its original design features. The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a 45-minute drive from Central London, and 20 miles from Heathrow. The M4 motorway is less than a 6-mile drive away and Temple Golf Club is a mile away. In warmer months, enjoy local ales and food from the ‘summer kitchen’ in the huge meadow garden. In winter, open fires create an inviting coziness in the main bar. Free Wi-Fi internet is available throughout. Free on-site parking is also available at the property and pets can be accommodated.

- Quaint.
- The location was perfect and surrounding area was lovely. All the staff where friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional
Cons -
- That I was asked if I wanted breakfast when i checked in and then was told at breakfast that I had to pay for it. That should have been explained at check in.
- Loud music went on into the night. The carpets where dated and not in away it matched the buildings age. One of the sockets could have had a phone charger port. The evening meal was below my expectations over cooked
- No information left in room. The bathroom was so cold and towel rail didn’t come on. It wasn’t until the morning we were leaving that we found a switch in the bedroom to turn it on. If this was on information left in room this would have been rectified. Minor complaint only.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Bed was really comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of options.

We booked an evening meal as well as bed and breakfast, both were very good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Our classic king room was basic and tired, soundproofing could be improved.
A friendly atmosphere, staff and location( near to the Thames path) Anniversary was a success.
It’s so classic and very beautiful. Staffs are kind and good. Breakfast is very good and delicious.

The room they moved us to after we complained was better.
The first annex room they put us in was one of the worst rooms we've ever been in. It was billed as a Classic King and it was neither. Tiny bed, decor was shabby, furniture scuffed, stale odour, very small, outside clearly in need of repair. We immediately complained and were moved to a better room in a different annex but really this hotel has seen better days, and is generally poorly maintained. I can't speak to the rooms in the pub itself, I'm sure that's what the pictures show, but if you decide to book check you're not in rooms 43-46. Worst we've ever seen.
Very charming. Hurley is a lovely village on the Thames with lots of history. The main hotel building was built in 1135.
Our room had no A/C and it was quite hot. Also, our room needed a facelift.
Gorgeous historic property in beautiful grounds. Easy parking, spacious room.
What a great hotel - good location, excellent staff, lovely restaurant with yummy food. The bed was extra comfy and the room, very spacious.
Overall, the hotel facilities were fine, and the wedding arrangements was excellent.
There was not enough staff - we had to wait 90 minutes for our food and the burger wasn’t even cooked properly. However, we were very kindly given a refund so was happy about that.
Staff, location, room, restaurant, amenities, ambiance all excellent. Will stay every time anywhere near. Thank you
Quiet, apart from rooks… old style.Nice bath and shower facilities…
Needs an update but ok
Room was enormous, a short walk from reception - room had everything i needed for a one nights stay with large bed, bath, lovely view of the garden and nice bathroom too.
It was up a few sets of stairs so might be difficult with heavy luggage or children but for solo travellers or couples, will be absolutely fine.
Ease of booking and location on hotel
Cleanliness of the bathroom
Lovely old coaching inn, great food, lovely location, easy parking and the staff were very helpful.
The room in the Tithe Barn was lovely but not quiet, unfortunately could hear everything in the neighbouring room.
Great location. Comfortable.. Very welcoming staff
Lots of parking spaces but a bit of a squeeze when parked next to 4x4’s
Location was lovely, room size great, staff friendy and welcoming.Evening meal was delicious.Breakfast included in the price which was good.
Sat in the bar to eat as our dog was with us. Stark contrast with restaurant. Didn't feel particularly clean, not atmospheric. Could have been made more pleasant with soft furnishings etc.Shower very poor water flow, dirty soap dish and grouting in-between tiles.
