    Pros +

    • Location, hotel staff.
    • The Windsor Suite was beautiful and the Bar and Restaurant was lovely. Our Dinner was delicious in the Riverside Restaurant and the breakfast was lovely in the morning.
    • We’ve stayed here a few times but it’s. Or like it used too be Jacuzzi bath didn’t work and I paid for this option

    Cons -

    • To many stairs. Shame there wasn't a lift
    • Rushed check in, not shown where our room was or given directions. Was told to have breakfast early before 8 as they were full in the morning and it would be busy !! We are here for leisure not business ! We ordered breakfast in the room instead , were awoken at 7 am with someone else’s breakfast and then had to chase ours at 9.20 when it hadn’t arrived at 9. When it did turn up it was luke warm and the toast was burnt.
    • Unfortunately an issue with the hot water in our room, not noticed until the morning when we both wanted a shower, the water was at best luke warm so could only have a flannel wash using the sink topped up with boiled water from the kettle, also cooked breakfast was served warm not hot + coffee not hot enough

Location is excellent and the ground floor rooms were both large. The housekeeping staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good and the location of the dining room with views to the river was excellent

Both ground floor rooms were a little tired and the net curtains in one of them were ripped giving the impression of run down. The accessible room was not suitable for a wheelchair user at all. The beds were extremely high and there was no facility for a booster to help access the bed. The shower was over the bath and therefore impossible to access.

Amazing location, perfect for exploring marlow. The bed was really comfortable. Restaurant looked lovely so will try next time in marlow. Will definitely be back to this hotel..

    Disappointing

Lack of tv remote; no socket near bed; had to walk to door to turn light out; tepid weak shower; poor service when trying to get receipt

Location was good for Marlow, overlooking the famous bridge and River Thames. Plenty of parking available at no extra cost

For a 4 star hotel our room lacked certain basics, such as remote control for TV and bath mat for shower over bath. Whilst reception sorted these issues when raised, they should have been in the room. Also they have removed internal phones for "sustainability (?)”, so a guest wishing to contact Reception needs to use a mobile phone to call an external number (Glasgow area code). We tried several times to report the above issues but the phone was not answered. When reported, reception staff seemed unaware of this.

Wonderful view, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and friendly staff

The hotel and location is fantastic. Also a very nice breakfast

The ventilation system was very noisy, it seems, as the system is not balanced or needs some sound attenuation. I booked the suite as I wanted to enjoy my stay. However, the ventilation system's noise kept me awake all night.I also noticed the ventilation was also noisy in the corridor adjacent to the bar.

I was upgraded to a room with balcony and river view and I was so happy as it was my birthday

    It was perfect

Great location and well laid outExcellent outlook.Staff very attentive

Just a little tired around the edges. No lifts and walls on stairways starting to suffer a little. Windows in room were looking tired but the view was amazing a bit of a walk from car park to reception especially when it’s raining.

    Disappointing

Poor decor, heated towel rail broken, no hot water, bed base damaged, awful continental breakfast, Supplements for many cooked breakfasts....

    4FrankPosted on: 2-1-2026

    The setting and overall appearance

Arrived back at hotel at 10.45. Pm and was looking forward to a drink at the bar and was told that the tills were cashed up and they were shut. Not what you expect from a hotel

    8MartinPosted on: 1-31-2026

    The room stunning

The receptionist was really unfriendly when we arrived to leave the car at 11am verging on a little rude. Room service menu also very limited to have a suit with dinning table better choices should be available

    7ClivePosted on: 1-31-2026

We are from Marlow so know the location well.

Cold room however this was sorted out by the receptionist.

    6GregoryPosted on: 1-30-2026

    Great location

Our room was very noisy Constant noise all night from air conditioners on flat roof outside of our room

    7WilliamPosted on: 1-29-2026
