- 10/10 Highly Recommended! This place was extremely peaceful and perfect for anyone who wants to stay close to Venice while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing atmosphere when returning “home” after a busy day.The price was very affordable and totally worth it for the quality of the stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the gentleman at the reception, who was always kind, professional, and ready to help at any time of the day.Overall, an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again!
- The receptionist was kind, new mattresses.
- Friendly staff, quiet atmosphere and good location
Cons -
- This is a very old hotel and it looks much nicer on the photos than in the reality. The room wasn’t as clean as it should be, and as you enter the hotel there is a smell of cigarette smoke all around (not in the rooms, though). The whole hotel is very poorly mantained and breakfast isn’t served during off season.
- Facilities are a bit dated
- Nothing in particular. Infra structure is old that’s it

The staff was super friendly and considering the price for Venizia it was exactly what I was expecting. The breakfast was 10 Euros per person and it include hams, cheese, breads, every type of coffee you might want and croissants, fruit pie, cereals, it was perfect to get ready for a day of walking. The bed was comfortable enough (on the firm side). The room and private bathroom was clean and every worked as expected, except the mini fridge which we didn't need. There was a very nice outdoors patio with multiple tables and chairs. It was just a few minutes bus ride from the Lido vaporetto. Safe neighborhood with local bakery and restaurants and even a local outdoor market just minutes away.
The place is a bit run down, but that is also part of the charm. I mean, if you want the Ritz, then go to the Ritz!! The place is clean and well managed by nice people, but it's a small old hotel. We liked it, and if you don't mind the 20-30 minutes vaporetto+bus ride to get to-and-from from San Marco, then you got some bang for your buck. Some new carpets and a fresh coat of paint would do then place some good.
friendly staff, good location
Some of the towels were dirty, maybe they mixed them up when they changed them. And I still don't understand why they charged us 11.2 euros as a city tax, even though the booking said 2.8 euros per person, and there were two of us.
The hotel's location is one of its strongest advantages. It's situated very close to a public transport stop, making it incredibly easy to reach the main ferry terminal and subsequently Venice itself. Additionally, the beach is just a short walk away, perfect for a relaxing break between sightseeing trips. This connectivity is ideal for anyone planning to explore Venice while staying in a quieter area of Lido. The check-in and check-out process at Hotel Villa Tiziana was smooth and hassle-free.
The single room has some significant drawbacks. It's quite small and noticeably dated, desperately in need of renovation. The most challenging issue was the paper-thin walls - you can hear practically everything happening in adjacent rooms and the corridor. Unfortunately, some other guests were quite noisy during my stay, which made it difficult to sleep at night. This isn't the hotel's fault per se, but the lack of soundproofing certainly amplified the problem.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful.
The room was like nothing had been updated since the early 90s. Carpet and furniture were old, it could use a paint job. Bedspreads and sheets low quality. Just beds, a small desk with small TV, chair, a wardrobe and a luggage rack. Sparse overall. The bathroom was standard, nice enough.
Really nice hotel, mermaid vibes, close to the ocean although to get to a beach is a 15 minute walk. Great staff.
Breakfast was basic continental food, nothing with real Italian taste.
Nice and helpful staff, great location on Lido.
Not very clean though.
Very kind staff, dog friendly place, lovely location, free parking on the street 20 meters away, we stayed longer than expected :), short walk to the beach, walkable distance to the center. Beautiful neighbourhood. Very affordable if you want to explore Venice, Lido and rest of the islands for more than couple days. Hope to come back soon and thank you :)
Very good value for money and we were lucky to have one of the best room with terrace/balcony. Room is maintained every day. Nice staff, good breakfast. The host Luigi helped us a lot with valuable advices about restaurants nearby, transport options etc. Cozy quiet area in the center of Lido close to the sea behind Venice Cinema Center, good restaurants nearby and picturesque surrounding
Room was clean, tidy and exactly what I needed. Albeit small it had everything I needed and great value for Money. Cannot emphasise the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. An ideal place to stay in Lido, half hour into city of venice. Does what it says on the tin
Room was slightly smaller than I expected but in honesty I didn't comb through the listing for too long. Besides that everything was great.

The bed was comfortable and surprisingly no bed bugs but otherwise you get what you pay for and the quality of the place was commensurate with the cost. The WiFi worked well and having AC helped.
Older building that needed remodeling but that bothered me less than all the black mold growing in the shower. Having a mini fridge and water heater in the room would have increased the rating for sure.
The girl at the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was simple, comfortable and clean.
When I booked this hotel, one reviewer described this hotel as "homely" and I think that this is a good description. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The staff are excellent - and they helped me practice my Italian language. The bathroom in the room I had was renovated, and it was a good size. There was plenty of hot water, and as it was a humid time of year I requested new towels daily, which the team were happy to swap over (note: like all hotels nowadays, there is the option to 'hang up you towel to dry and not have the towels replaced'). There was a small bar fridge in the room. The large window allowed plenty of nature daylight and fresh air into the room. I stayed in a small double room, as a single traveller, but with a suitcase in the room this limited the available space around the bed, so I would recommend a larger room for two people. The hotel is 3 bus stops from the vaporetto dock.
Although comfortable, the bed was quite low (it may have had a low profile base). The room was near to the reception, and it was possible to hear people speaking as they returned to the hotel each evening, however once everyone had settled the hotel was quiet.
Front staff was so kind, he could accept changing check in time! The room was very clean and with lovery interior. It was nice stay!!
You need to get ferry to reach the hotel, but the price of ferry is getting higher (it's not a problem of the hotel)
