    • It was VERY conveniently located and a really nice value. Everything was well-maintained/restored and I felt like I was staying in a really nice old villa. Which is what it is. Room was tiny, shower was even smaller, but I loved it still. Great staff.

    • Beautiful villa with stunning sunset view from roof! Delicious breakfasts, comfortable room, wonderful hosts and staff. I highly recommend this place!

    Cons -

    • I'm 6 foot 1, 180 pounds so quite average for an American. The shower was tiny. But also, really no smaller than any Euro shower you'd find in any hotel on the continent. Same for the A/C, horrible by American standards, just fine by Euro standards.
    • Room was small but bed was great and elegant decor. No elevators and we had heavy luggage but Marco will help take it up the stairs.
    • They didn’t have lift and should carry all luggage with your hand to upstairs, room was small with small size bed , shower area was very small and don’t count on breakfast.

Beautiful location in Lido. Much nicer feel than the tourist packed Venice. Wonderful breakfast! Great ferry ride over (with car)! Just don’t forget to buy your 24 hour ticket before the ferry! Would definitely recommend this beautiful property!

The breakfasts were excellent with many delicious pastries and tarts homemade and a lovely garden to enjoy breakfast or anytime during our stay. They also have great cappuccino and wine and guests can go on rooftop for wonderful view of Lido and Venice. The staff were very nice and helpful with Vaporetto information. Close enough to vaporetto but on a nice residential street.

Room was small but bed was great and elegant decor. No elevators and we had heavy luggage but Marco will help take it up the stairs.

Breakfast wasn’t acceptable for us , location was perfect beautiful place and very near to ferry station .

They didn’t have lift and should carry all luggage with your hand to upstairs, room was small with small size bed , shower area was very small and don’t count on breakfast.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a rental car and were able to park it inside with no problem. The grounds are beautiful and they have a rooftop area that is nice to watch sunsets from and view the city.

The shower is super tiny; you can barely fit in it, and I’m a small person. And the blow dryer looks like something from ancient times, almost like a vacuum cleaner. It was very hard to blow dry my hair; almost impossible.

The location on the lido was great, 5 minutes walk from the waterbus terminal and close to shops & restaurants.

Customer service at this hotel couldn't be better. All staff polite, accommodating & happy.

A beautiful early-twentieth-century villa converted into a hotel. Ten minute walk from the Lido SME vaporetti stops. My room was large, bright, and spotlessly clean. Lovely big windows and air conditioning worked a treat. Breakfast was continental and ample - including home-made pastries which changed daily! I loved this hotel because it was an oasis of calm out of the mayhem of the centre of Venice. A 20 minute trip across the bay on Vaporetto route '1' (day or night) and you are right back in the heart of San Marco.

We had a very pleasant stay. Everything was wonderful the breakfast, cleanliness and the neighborhood it is located

    10DaraPosted on: 2-21-2025

The decor was beautiful and the breakfast tasty

There was construction in front of the building starting very early. Obviously no fault of the hotel but made the mornings very noisy

    8KrystsinaPosted on: 2-21-2025

Breakfasts were amazing, stuff very friendly and helpful, location quite good, a little far away from Venice but good transportation

It was very cold and the ac wasn’t making a big difference. Also there was a little unpleasant smell in the room, the shower was way too small and there was no duvet covers on the blanket

    9SandraPosted on: 10-15-2024

Staff was wonderful! Breakfast was amazing!!! Beautiful garden setting. Really enjoyed the tower terraces with wonderful views. Thank you for a great stay!

Hair dryer provided not very strong for drying longer hair.

A little Villa Oasis on Lido. Very nice breakfast, very good coffee. Great air conditioning, very well located to travel to the Biennale and to visit the Venice Lido. Very lovely vintage flair. Very nice staff. Would come back!

Was not made known to need water transit, location and facility was amazing.

    9JenniferPosted on: 9-20-2024

Great location - 5 minutes from the Vaporetto stop. Lovely to escape the crowds of Venice and have leisurely strolls in the evenings to find a restaurant. There was a different fresh cake for breakfast. Shame that we couldn't eat outside due to the weather.Very relaxed and quiet hotel.

Our room was small, but we were aware of this at the time of booking.

I liked everything! This hotel is fantastic and checks all the boxes: Location, check; Ambience, check; People, check; free parking, check; bicycles to tour the island, check; size of the room, check; Hospitality, check; Coffee, check! (Starbucks has nothing on this hotel's personal barista and bartender). The staff went above and beyond and were so kind! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any and everyone. I do not know why Lido is not touted as a tourist spot. It probably is why they are all so nice. They don't have tourist fatigue. Let me say this for all tourists. We were in Italy for 10 days (Rome, Venice, Florence); Italians give New Yorkers a run for their money when it comes people interaction. However, in Lido, I felt like it was a mix of the south and Canada rolled into one.

My only complaint for the room (not a big deal I should add, considering the others I visited while we toured Italy) was that the bed for my partner and I was actually two beds shoved together. While not a deal breaker, it got uncomfortable a couple of times. There were also a couple of cobwebs in the ceiling and no bathing soap in the bathroom. I only brought up the last item with the hotel which they remedied immediately. With how accommodating they were, If I had requested a change for the room and they could do it, they would have. The owner was such a great, honest, endearing bloke and the folks that worked with him were as well. Those cappuccinos? To die for! The Barista at the hotel was such a delight. I am very hard to please because I don't speak up very often, but these guys somehow warmed their way into my heart and did just that. Wow!
