Pros +
- Clean, friendly staff
- Very friendly and welcoming staff.
- It was a wonderful experience taking the public water buses to and from the island. We came to the area for Venice but did not realize how incredible the beach neighborhoods of Lido are! We are already planning a trip back in the summer. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Our room was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views of the garden and ocean in the distance. The delicious breakfast outside in the garden should not be missed. The staff was professional and went above and beyond to make our visit even more memorable
Cons -
- I didn't like having to leave after such a wonderful stay. We will be back!
- Included breakfast would have made this stay perfect but there are enough breakfast options in town that it wasn't a major problem. You can add breakfast for 16euro per person/per day but we wan't to do it cheaper
- I can’t think of anything. It was all great

It was a wonderful stay at the La Meridiane HotelThe location was really great, 5 minutes from the beach and 15 from the ferry dock, the main street and the shops. The administrator provided a room that was bigger and better than the one I had paid for. The hotelis very clean and cozy. It has a beautiful garden where a wonderful delicious and varied breakfast is served every morning. The atmosphere is relaxing at every step, starting from the entrance. The hotel staff are very nice, helpful and friendly, at the first request rushing to help and doing everything very quickly. The room was cleaned every day at a convenient time for me, while I was on the beach. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bed linen is very beautiful!Everything was excellent! Special thanks to the hotel employee, unfortunately I did not remember his name, who within half an hour installed me a new safe, instead of the non-functioning one, and told me about the city's public and private beaches. Special thanks to the administrator, Stella, who was able to convince me that a trip to Venice by vaporetto would not be too difficult, and it only took 15 minutes to reach San Marco Square! My stay at La Meridiane Hotel was an unforgettable experience! I will definitely come back!
This hotel is beautiful! The ambience as soon as you walk through the gates is relaxing, charming, and wonderful. The rooms are very beautiful with a vintage type feel. The cicadas were a little loud but it wasn't bothersome enough to alter our views on the stay. We were walking distance to bus stops and beaches which was very convenient because we didn't want to move our car once parked. There were lots of free street parking options all around the island but once we found a spot close to the hotel, we didn't move the car. The beach just down the street from the hotel was quite expensive so we hopped on the bus and it took us down to one of the free beaches that was on the north end of the island and used an umbrella and beach towels from the hotel (not sure if they still do this). I totally recommend getting the Venezia Unica pass because it made transportation around the lido so much easier. The staff and the people were so kind and gave us recommendations on where to eat and things to do. There is an elevator that was very small but very helpful for my grandparents. Staying on the island was a highlight of our trip and the hotel had a lot to do with that! We would definitely stay here again :)Tip: the AC wasn't very cold when we got there but once we spoke with the staff, they were able to "unlock" the thermostat and lower the temperature to be more comfortable. They said all we needed to do was ask :)

Very nice, quiet location. Short walk to the beach club. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful.
Everything!Beautiful atmosphere, very well taken care of. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Close to Venice and watching the sunrise at the beach was a bonus.
I can’t think of anything. It was all great
charming hotel in a beautiful green setting. Comfortable amenities and great service.
The old rustic vibe is what I loved about this hotel it’s a 1930s hotel but it well kept! The staff was super helpful the location was great! Loved it all, would come back and stay here again for sure..
Cozy hotel in a quiet neighborhood, very friendly staff. Mattresses could be better though. It's 15m walk from the boat station leading to very center. Good value for money.
Everything was great and the staff were amazing; especially the daily recptionist.
It wasn't a massive issue but the hotel was on Lido island and I wanted to spend my time around Venice central so I had to walk/spend time back and forth via ferries. But if you want to relax in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach that would be an amazing option and you still can go to other islands.
Location was perfect. Both the beach (5 mins) and the vaporetto stops (15 mins) were in a short walk distance. The Hotel is very comfortable and quiet. Staff was helpful and kind when we had questions. Parking is available, the ferry is not far away. All in all we had a great time during our stay.
The hotel is in a nice villa like building in a small garden with trees. Very close by to a nice (not free) beach. Rooms are very clean. The bus station is not too far. The room has spaletta/spatula , so you can make almost complete dark for sleeping (although some kind of gadget on the wall has a constant light ). Our room had also a big balcony (not that clean).
Our room was very tiny. The hotel has paper walls, so it can be very noisy, depending on the guests, for us this was the case. Also during and after the film festival, the traffic is diverted to the small (otherwise probably quiet) street of the hotel. When we were there, there was a heavy rain, and the hotel was flooded. Half the night the fire-fighters pumped the water from the ground floor, the pump motor was very noisy on its own, but as a bonus they (or the hotel workers) were shouting to each other the whole night. The owner lady , who speaks Russian fluently, but not English, could not apologize next day, She still has to learn hospitality. Generally the whole stuff is not too friendly. No option to skip the towel changing for 1-2 days e.g. for environmental reasons,
The hotel has a great location on the Lido. The breakfast was very good and filling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff gave us great direction to local restaurants.
Only staying one night and the rain.
The hotel had a very charming and peaceful atmosphere and the staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the location was quiet and leafy - a nice break from central Venice! They also let us rent bicycles to explore the island more thoroughly. Nice breakfast too.
Nothing - everything was lovely
This hotel was fantastic. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a large terrace. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was terrific and a good price - with lots of food to choose from. The location was beautiful - only a 10 minute walk alongside the canal to the Vaporetta and port and 2 minutes to the beach. We enjoyed sightseeing all day in Venice and escaping home to Lido, a quieter and more relaxed place, at the end of the day. The waterbus home at sunset was a highlight.Highly recommended.
everything was just perfect. no complaints
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The Hotel was delightful and our room large. The breakfast was very good.
The staff is attentive and pleasant. We stayed in a room with a balcony and even though there was a storm on the island we didn't hear anything. The bed is very comfortable and the cleanliness impeccable. We will definitely come back!
Nothing :)
Beautiful room with very recently decorated bathroom. Absolutely spotless. Very warm and friendly greeting from owner who kindly allowed us leave our luggage after check out as our flight was late in the day. Hotel is situated in a lovely quiet residential area. Would definitely stay again.
I liked everything.
The size of the room and bathroom was good. The bed was also a good size, as well as the shower. There is an elevator.
First of all, the door of the room was not closing properly, even the staff member was struggling and using his legs to open/close it. Secondly, wifi connection was very poor. It took me 15min to get connected and then the connection was so poor that I had to use my own data. Thirdly, there was no kettle in the room, which seemed odd, knowing that hotels do provide one. Also, the hairdryer was so slow and not powerful that I had to leave the hotel with wet hair as it would have taken me 15 min to get prepared.
