Pros +
- Location and friendly staff
- Location was close to Lido water-bus station. Line E from train station will take you here with scenic view of the Venice canal in 45 minutes.
- I like everything - the friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast - anything that you want of fruits, bread, sweets, cheese, meats, vegetables, coffe, juice.....Perfect location with view the lagoon of Venice..This is my second time at the hotel and I will be back again!
Cons -
- Only thin net curtains on bedroom windows (three windows in bedroom and one in bathroom), so bright lights shine into bedroom. Breakfast only ok.
- Central AC temperature in the room controlled by front desk and locked at 25-26 deg.C. despite the room is hot at noon in summer. When checked with them the reception lady politely provided a Table fan.
- Rooms need a renovation, I couldn't start the AC but did not complain since it was not so hot. The bathroom fan was not working.

Location is perfect, vaporetto is just across the road, the view from the terrace is amazing, and there are plenty of restaurants around. Staff is so nice and helpful. The bed was large enough and was comfortable. Linens were clean, and the breakfast was over average.

Second time staying here. Obviously came back because it was so good. Reception staff are fantastic and rooms great. Try getting a room at front with balcony overlooking water. Opposite water taxi station so going into Venice is easy. Beach is a five minute walk away. Breakfast was good and they also have a large patio with water view to chill on with a drink. Just a great Hotel.
Small and quiet. In a convenient location near water taxis and restaurants.
Wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location - close to everything we needed. Would definitely book again!
Lovely hotel and right next to transport links.Lovely and helpful staff.
The room we had was a bit noisy but it was directly facing the vaporetto stops so it was to be expected. The positives outweigh and negatives, we would definitely stay here again. The only feedback we would give is that if there are 3 people staying in the room there should be 3 cups, would have been nice if the cups could be changed each day instead of having to wash them in the sink.
Nice staffGood pricesBeautiful view
- staff were polite and helpful.- location was good.
- room was moisty and extremely noisy.- shower was really small.- breakfast was simple, cold and with few options.
The staff were very kind, friendly and knowledgeable.
Didn't dislike anything.
The location is really good, close to vaporetto and everything that we needed. Nice staff, clean room
Breakfast options were really limited
I was so impressed by the staff of this hotel, always genuinely kind and ready to help the customer. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed. When it comes to breakfast, you have many options to choose from. I totally recommend Hotel Panorama if you decide to visit Venice.
Because of the hotel's location sometimes late at night, you can hear some people still partying outside, which can be bothering if you're a light sleeper, but I wouldn't say it's the hotel's fault.
Great hotel in great location. Easy to get back and forth to main Venice. The station is right across the road. It was surprisingly quiet for the location being on the main road. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view across the lagoon. Breakfast was standard and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again, very good value for money.
Continental breakfast included in price. Absolutely fine. Lots to choose from.
Nothing really. Panorama as I remember it from many years ago. Warm room , comfortable bed. Slightly old fashioned i.e TV very old and no streaming services etc. But very comfortable.
Very friendly staff. Great location on the quiet island of Lido, overlooking the lagoon and Venice grand canal opposite. Quick boat trip into the attractions of Venice city, returning to the peaceful beauty of Lido in the evenings. Room well equipped, good size, good shower and comfy bed. Would certainly recommend and return.
Under the bed and desk was very dusty. Breakfast was not very varied day to day (however nice enough)
The hotel location was good. I like hotel lobby with small breakfast hall. The breakfast was good and tasty. 4 star hotel standards.I would like to mention the staff of the hotel - worm professional meeting. Helpful and very nice administrative workers with knowledge how to meet guests. Really one of the best I have seen in 5 star brand hotels. Thanks ❤️
The room was very small and dark with very old furniture. Not comfortable. The bathroom also was small but clean and worm. Hotel is nice, but it needs renovation
There was nothing much to like about this hotel. The only thing we liked was that it was located right next to the pier from where you can catch a ferry to anywhere in Venice.
There were 2 problems - one was related to my error of judgement and the other was the value for money offered by the hotel.Firstly, I made the error of judgement in not staying in the main island of Venice which is called San Marco. That's where all the tourist attractions are. This hotel is located in another island called Lido. It takes a 20 minutes ferry ride from Lido to San Marco. While booking the hotel I never realized. We would have been much better off staying in San Marco and would have saved so much time and energy in not undertaking the journey between the 2 islands. Also money - because each trip to the main island would be Euro 10 per person.Secondly, the hotel was very expensive. They charged Euro 945 for 2 rooms with bay view for 2 nights + Euro 28 taxes in cash. This was by far the most expensive hotel in our Greece and Italy holiday. But, it was not worth it at all. We were given rooms 204 and 205. Out of this 204 was so tiny with the bathroom with just space for one person to enter. 205 was a little bigger as it was overlooking the corner. The bay view promised was a let down as in 204 there was only 1 window. 205 had two windows overlooking the bay. But the windows had a glass door as well as a wooden door outside. The wooden doors where not maintained and could not be opened wide. Most of the wooden windows were defective. So, one would not be able to get a bay view. The heating in the room was inconsistent and not user friendly. We never understood how to operate them. The breakfast was standard and good. They don't have a restaurant of their own, though there are many restaurants around. Most of the room was dilapidated. For Day 1 they gave drinking water, but in Day 2 even after they made our room, they did not give any water. Very basic toiletries. No room slippers. They gave a mini fridge, but nothing inside it. Even after charging so much, I expected at least a few non-alcoholic drinks to be given for free. Very basic...
The staffs are very friendly and helpful, the location is great (1 minute walk to the port). The breakfast is included and during the breakfast one can view the sea. The room was clean.
The room assigned to us was close to the garage, it was dark and had no view at all, which was disappointing because I was expecting to see the sea in our room. The temperature setting of the airconditioner didn't work, and it was quite cold.
It can't be better than this..of my God...what a wonderful place to stay...just in front of the Lido terminal..the receptionists are like your own family members.Location: 10 times awesomeAccess to public transport: 10 times awesomeHospitality: awesomeBreakfast: very goodRoom quality: very good
