I loved everything about this property. This is the second time I’ve stayed here

Beautiful hotel. Restaurant was very good. Delicious breakfast. Sunset from the rooftop terrace. Easy walk to explore the island.

What an amazing hotel, steeped in history. The staff are excellent and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Our room looked out over the front of the property, was large and very comfortable with lovely furniture. It has a great location, just a few minutes walk from the Lido water bus terminal, and a few minutes from the beach on the other side. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our only complaint is that we were told that there were no more pancakes available, and this was at 9:30am, an hour and a half before the breakfast service officially ended.

Good location, nice building.

Really “tired”, depressive and dirty interiors. Not working properly facilities (like even TV remote and room phone). Smiling but useless personal. You constantly feel yourself disturbing hotel personal to live their boring life…..

Modern inside , art deco exterior .We'll maintained. Seating areas comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly.

Amazingly beautifully hotel. People were stopping to take photos. Very friendly staff with great local knowledge. Great location away from the tourists of Venice but a short 10min ferry across to San Marco. Exceptionally clean town with great restaurants and cafes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Ausonia Hungaria was a beautiful stay. Staff were extremely welcoming. The street is such a lovely neighbourhood with great shops. A short 2 minute walk to the Boat taxi’s - 15 minutes ride to Venice, €9 a ticket. I would definitely recommend and come again.

The roof restaurant wasn’t opening when it mentioned it would be.

Beautiful property, spotless clean rooms, very comfy beds, very powerful shower, all staff very friendly, lovely pool although we were unlucky with the weather, great cocktails in the bar. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, short walk to the beach on one side and water bus on the other side. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when we return to Venice.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect.

the weather

The building with the front yard is wonderful. The staff is very helpful ( I needed an ironing immediately and they made it for me). Also the breakfast was incredible fine.

Next time I have to try the SPA and the pool to.

The staff at the Ausonia Hungaria hotel were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful and polite and genuinely customer focused. The hotel facilities and location are both superb. Highly recommend for solo travellers.

Can't fault the hotel.

Perfect location, beautiful building. You can find near beach and near the hotel so many restaurants, pizzeria, gelateria and etc.

Beautifully located on the main street. Hotel has so much character. Beautiful building architecturally. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The only thing and it's very minor is the beds were not comfy. The matress was too hard. Room was slightly on the small side.

I have never experienced such a breakfast. Each of the guests was given a 'basic breakfast' right on the table; so sliced ​​fruit, a small slice of cheese and salami, some morning biscuits, water, and then of course food according to the breakfast menu. Excellent! Everything was served, taken away, available. The food on the roof of the hotel in the 28.5 restaurant was the best I have ever tasted. And believe me, I dine several times a week in restaurants that have a recommendation or a Michelin star. This restaurant is by far the top.

There were a lot of us by the pool who would have had a cocktail or two, but there were not enough staff and they didn't serve.

Room was clean and nice. Personel was nice

Gym - that small room can not be called gym.Pool area ok, But not fancy. Compared to facilities the room was overpriced. Breakfast Had been cost 35€/person, quite dear price.

The bathrooms & toilet have no privacy it’s all glass ! Food & drinks expensive. Had to pay for the spa .

I liked the location of the island and the surroundings...

The gym was small and not much selection...equipment mainly outdated

Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable bed. The building was beautiful. The air conditioning was excellent.

The room service was poor.
