Overlooking Lough Atalia, The Lighthouse Guest Accommodations (google maps code: H91 V090) offers a beautiful lake view and is in a convenient location. It is a 5 minute walk to the coach station, train station and city center. The Lighthouse offers room-only accommodations within the city of Galway. We are advertised as no parking, however we do have 4 spaces available at an additional cost payable on arrival and based on availability.

- The room was very nice -- seemed to have been updated fairly recently. The location was perfect for what we needed.

- The water pressure was awful, basically a trickle of water so it took what would have been a very quick shower at least double the time in order to wash shampoo out of my hair. Parking being an extra ¿15 wasn't great, but I understand.
- The water pressure for the shower was rather weak... but that's a real nitpick of an otherwise excellent stay.

The room we had was on the third floor, it was quiet and clean. We really liked the window view of the harbor.

Also this is a very small place and when guests arrived they were very loud. . She also called me on my cell to say she needed the money apond my arrival. . Ok lady I get it. I would not recommend this place. I never felt comfortable at this place! Sorry
After traveling for many hours. The long walk up the ramp to the place then a flight of stairs. No washcloths for 3 days the towels were gray in color and and has springs. I have pics. She insisted on the cash money the monument we got in the door.
