Pros +
- Location.
- Great location, right in the center of town. Very nice staff (especially Hugh). Nicest hostel I stayed at in Ireland. The beds were very nice. Plenty of room, decently comfy, and they even had privacy curtains. Showers were good.

Cons -
- Cluttered. When I arrived, the lobby was so packed with luggage, that I could barely get to the window to check-in. Wifi did not work the entire time. Staff was not friendly. Loud.
- Don't eat the breakfast food! It's substandard. The fruit was very bad, shocking that there were no visible signs of rotting because it tasted like crap. It's also way too expensive. I stayed in three hostels over the course of my Irish vacation, and I paid more for this one than the other two combined. Would've picked another if I could've found a cheaper option.
- If I could offer any suggestions it would be for a table of sorts in the bathroom to set items on while showering

Helpful and friendly staff, location, and safe quarters.
This was our first hostel experience. We had 6 family members traveling together so thought the six bed room shared would be ideal. The location was perfect! The food and staff were wonderful! Everything was clean and easy to understand. For the hard, but true.. the 6 bunk bed room was lovely as it had curtains to separate and its own outlet and light and lockers under the beds. The bathroom was tight and difficult to move the humidity out, therefore causing a very stuffy feel to the room- even with the window open. Having a floor fan was nice though. The beds were slightly hard for me (50 year old active fit mom that is a side sleeper) Overall this was a great experience and I would stay here again as well as recommend it!

Private room with balcony was nice. Very central location.
Very expensive.
Patient, personable staff. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice light breakfast included. Will hold your bags for free. Close to transportation and city center.
Shower water pressure was excellent, mattress really comfortable, receptionists super friendly
Wasn't expecting much because it's a hostel after all, but the breakfast is super basic FYI
Well located, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms and beds.
Could do with bathrooms in the halls as one bathroom for a full dorm is tough but overall wonderful experience here
The beds were super comfy, the shower’s water pressure was perfect, location close to the bus and train stations, and the staff super helpful with places to visit and eat at.
Breakfast could’ve have some ham or eggs for protein, but it’s a hostel at the end of the day so can’t expect too much!
The hostel was clean and had nice employees. Even though most of the hostels in the area are similarly priced, this one at least had lots of kitchen staples (salt, pepper, oil, pasta, rice). So it can feel like you're getting a little but more for your money.
Perfect location to visit Galway; everything is walking distance. The room was nice, clean and silent. Good breakfast.
We choose this hotel since the ad on booking said that parking was included. There is a parking but it is not included. You have to pay extra. This should be explained better on booking as it can be a misleading information.
Snoozles was in a great location. It was clean and decorated in a fun way. The common spaces were nice for hanging out and people watching mostly young people. The staff was fantastic, the breakfast ok- they stop serving some foods like yogurt well before 10
The cost was a bit high for two nights in a family room.
Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast included, clean and comfortable stay.
It is very convenient to the town square and railway station. It was very clean and the staff were super friendly (especially a couple of fellow Canadians).
We were on the 3rd floor very close to the elevator and we could hear the elevator operating all night.
Great location. Super clean. Great staff. Laundry done for me for 10 euros. Nice seating in common areas.
Beds hard as a brick
Breakfast was great and the laundry service was an awesome thing to have access to. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Security is taken very seriously there, only letting in hostel patrons, so I felt very safe.
The common spaces feel a little too closed off, the air gets stuffy -- especially when people have been cooking in the evening. Also, when I was there, a large group had sort of monopolized their narrow, hallway-like kitchen with many people standing around in there, blocking others from using it. I wish the staff had encouraged them to disperse a bit.
Good staff. Explained how to walk to various fun locations and directions to Galway Bay and the fun pubs. And 50% parking discount. Very nice.
Room was clean and fine. But, both the bathroom floor and shower floor were painted. This made it very, very slippery. And no safety handrails in the shower. Need to improve this safety issue.
Snoozles is a bright and unique hostel in Galway with a great location, giving you easy access to everything you could need. The hostel offers tea, instant coffee, and fruit throughout the day, and a very basic breakfast is included. The lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely and, being Canadian, was especially fun to chat with.
The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are showing their age. There was not enough seating for everyone at breakfast. The drainage in our bathroom seemed to be missing a P-trap, and after being out for the day we returned to a strong sewer smell in the room. We kept the bathroom door closed to manage it, but it was far from ideal.
Cleaned, organized, modern.
