Excellent customer service and very friendly staff

My favorite places we stayed in Ireland, friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Apartment was very clean. Very reasonable in price.

Beds could be softer.

Multiple bathrooms, clean and tidy.

Some stuff looks rude, instead of talking and describing some points were so poker face and not friendly.

It’s in a very convenient location! The staff was super nice and very helpful throughout our stay, and the other guests were very friendly!

The beds are a little uncomfortable— but they’re not too bad and definitely worth it for the price!

Free breakfast items were offered early in the morning. Super friendly staff! Very clean!

Location and cleanliness

The location was great, close to pubs and shops, parking out the front if you're lucky enough, room size ok with private bathroom, clean kitchenette and sitting room downstairs.

The hostel is right in the city center, surrounded by perfect littles pubs, it's really nice to be in the heart of the town like that. The staff was amazing, recommended us the best pub to have vegetarian food (Bierhaus, if you ever go to Gallway, really amazing food).The beds were good, we stayed in a 7 person dormitory, all women, it felt a bit crowded but that's the hostel life !The hostel has a really well furnished kitchen, and really cosy common spaces.Would totally recommend this place if on a quick stay in Gallway !

The location was good.

Galway is very expensive for hotels compared to other centres in Ireland, and a good opportunity for a hostel to provide decent accommodations. Even by hostel standards, this was a disappointing place to stay.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and had everything we needed. It wasn't in the main hostel, room was in house next to hostel. We liked the living room. We had a car and parked in a lot close by, but street parking was also available. Perfect for 2 for a few days.

Cons The water pressure was weak but had enough hot waters. The lounge room is a little small but comfy. Room was a little stuffy at night.

Very close to the city centre and bus station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast, luggage storage and free tea/coffee at any time is also a plus!

Staff was very helpful. If you have a question, Angus has an answer.? This place was definitely a great choice on our trip.

There's no parking, but there's a big public one nearby. It was not very soundproof building.

It was too hot in the rooms, hostels should know that when there are many people in one room it is always going to be too hot and if you open the window you are listening to everything outside and in other houses/buildings

Excellent location super close to everything. There were pubs right outside the door. Surprisingly quiet. Clean facilities. Awesome and helpful staff. Cool hang out area. A fan was provided, but we were happy to have brought two travel fans due to the “heat wave” Ireland was experiencing in August.

We booked a family room with two bunkbed units and a bathroom complete with a shower, sink and toilet. The bathroom smelled terrible when we arrived. We left the fan on all day and overnight, and by the next day the smell was gone, but WOW, it was terrible. I thought it was just a sulfur smell at first and we needed to live with it, but the fact that it went away makes me feel like it was a slight maintenance issue. Otherwise, great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
