- The property is on the 20th floor and the view is amazing. The rooms are modern and stylish, with lovely perks like a Nespresso in the room and fresh breakfast daily. The staff was lovely.
- Stunning city view from 20th floor, modern design, very big and comfy bed, shower is super relaxing as well, amazing breakfast trays to the door.
- Great location. Fantastic views . Friendly concierge service
Cons -
- The city center was a little further than comfortable for us in the cold (18mins walk), but we have a 6 year old. It could have been nice to have a gym to use, but that’s the only negative I can give it.
- Can’t adjust the AC properly, was a bit too warm.
- Breakfast can be improved. Should allow guests to select from a menu.

facilities were excellent, breakfast was very good, staff friendly
description on how to find the hotel was insufficient
Over the top’s beautiful view. Incredible breakfast brought to our room, beautifully prepared. The staff is so accommodating. Super clean. Probably one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Very comfortable beds too.
Nothing! I loved everything!
Great views, modern fresh design and very comfortable.Excellent Breakfast served in your room.
Heating was a little noisy.
Exceptionally equipped serviced apartment . Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help . Thank you Aga !Breakfast delivered to your room at a time of your request , which had a brilliant mix and also catered for a vegetarian If we came to Reykjavík we would stay here
Great location, just a 5–10 minute walk to bars and restaurants. We stayed in a corner room with stunning views of the city and bay. which got even better at night! The room itself was exceptional—spacious, stylish, and well-equipped. The bathroom was beautifully with high-end finishes, while the main area included a cozy sofa sitting space. The bed was large and comfortable, with a variety of pillows to choose from.Amenities were excellent: coffee and tea-making facilities, a wine fridge, and a TV with a Bluetooth-enabled sound system for music. The room also had a desk and plenty of conveniently placed power sockets. The overall design felt premium, with solid wood flooring, sleek cabinetry, and a mix of concrete, glass, and marble in the bathroom. We also had a superb breakfast served to in the room. The service was excellent. We didn’t spend much time in the shared area, but it featured a beautifully designed space with stunning views, comfortable seating, and an honesty bar stocked with a great selection of drinks and snacks. No pool or gym available but this was not important to us on this trip.A fantastic stay - 9/10!
Just to reiterate, the room and our overall stay were a solid 9/10, but a few small improvements could make it a perfect 10.-Parking: Convenient but expensive, costing around £2 per hour, which adds up over multiple days. We parked directly outside the hotel rather than using the building’s underground parking. You have to ‘check in’ to start the charge and ‘check out’ to stop it. Ideally, parking should be free or reasonably priced (e.g., £5 per day) and fully managed by the hotel.-Lighting: We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the bathroom lights without switching on all the other lights in the room. While we didn’t ask staff for help, it should be more intuitive.-Noise: As light sleepers, we’re sensitive to room noises. There was a hum from the wine fridge, which we ended up unplugging, and one night, we heard a constant whine from what we think was the HVAC system, even though everything was switched off.-The duvets were quite small, especially for a taller person. We would have appreciated a king size duvet for a king size bed.-Room maintenance: A few areas in the bathroom showed signs of wear and could use a touch-up. Also, the freestanding towel rack in the bathroom was awkwardly placed, partially blocking the opening glass door which we were worried about breaking.Despite these very minor issues, we had a fantastic stay!
Great Location, views, staffs, breakfast, selection of tea, coffee, and snacks!
There were sounds of winds. You won’t notice until you turn off all lights and are ready for bed.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Location, room, breakfast. Spectacular views. Nothing was too much trouble, including special birthday balloons and cake. 5 star service by staff. Would definitely return again.
Both were good food wise but I prefer a proper sit down meal with cooling to order
The design of the shower/wet room lead to water on the bathroom floor which was very slippery.Very smooth flooring once wet can be dangerous for persons with mobility issues
Views were amazing from the top floor penthouse rooms.Location was great as well, not in town but very close and plenty of restraints close by.
Truly phenomenal! What an amazing stay. The view, amenities and ambience exceeded my expectations by tenfold. The breakfast spread was elite. The location is extremely walkable but also has many transport links and also many group tours pick up locally.Staff were warm, welcoming and went above and beyond to assist me in any need that I required.Highly recommend and if I were to ever return to Reykjavik this would be my hotel of choice.
Fantastic views and great customer service. We had the best experience!
Gym facilities weren’t great
Breathtaking views of Reykjavik, premium service and facilities, and the included breakfast and food/ drinks made this a very enjoyable stay.
I had trouble working out where and how to enter the building. Note for others staying here that you need to download an app to access the building when you first arrive and may be worth downloading it beforehand.
Morning breakfast was beautiful and delivered to your room on a trolley so you could eat in bed while looking at the views. Bathtub was amazing next to the huge window! Very spacious and loadssss of room for clothes storage. Self serve bar near reception (just scan and pay but very expensive!) You also can't buy alcohol in shops unless you want low percentage beer 2.4 so be prepared!) Lots of English tv channels. 15 minutes walk to all the shops etc. Free parking outside the hotel of a weekend.
I booked a birthday package with a cake/balloons and sign, however it was quite underwhelming for the price so wouldn't suggest! But overall would defo go back again for a luxury stay.
Unreal location a views
Could be a little cheaper but the view and serviceMore than make up for it
Lovely large room fully equipped and quite luxuriousSuperb breakfastUseful honesty bar
Signage is poor - difficult to find the way inRoom access info needed to arrive earlierWorrying slow fire evacuation ( It turned out to be a test but staff slow in guiding guests)
We’ve stayed in a few hotels in Reykjavik and this is definitely the best….Staff were 10/10 ? Obviously amazing views of Reykjavík. Perfect location, 10 minute walk from Rainbow St. Outstanding gym ?Spacious and comfortable suite.
Just one thing, the breakfast wasn’t what I would choose but was still really tasty.
Wonderful hotel. We loved our stay. Super breakfasts delivered exactly on time to the room. Housekeeping standards are top class, with great daily service. Special thanks to Anni for her help in finding exactly the right restaurant for a birthday celebration . A surprise birthday cake was also delivered with breakfast . Kelly also went the extra mile and delivered a surprise package for us just before we left. The total team made our stay memorable. I am a Lifetime Titanium Member for Marriott Bonvoy.........and this small , private hotel was better than any of the many great experiences I have had at Marriott group's 5 STAR properties around the world. Small is beautiful :)
