Kvosin Downtown Hotel

The room didn't have black out curtains! It had nice shades but summer time in Iceland means you need sufficient curtains to block out the light! This was my main issue, but everything else was great.

Staff were so kind and helpful, location was ideal for walking around town.

No parking

Room was clean and very spacious for a family of 5.

Parking is not included you have to drive to locate a meter. the outside noise at night. Hotel was kind of pricey given the lack of parking and no onsite laundry. I also wish there was two full bathrooms.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! Great location, extremely nice and helpful staff and rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. There is everything you need for your stay. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, spacious room. Lovely deck area outside the room. Simple but functional kitchenette. Friendly service.

Limited seating, lounge area in reception.

We had a large family group split between a “bigger room” and a “biggest room.” Both were very spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great and staff were quite friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Do note that if you’re able to park in one of the spaces in front of the hotel you’re in P1 and have a time limit each day. It’s easy to move your car to P2 with no limit.

Really cute suite with a bay window. Had a seperate sitting area too. Bed was comfortable. I’d stay here again.

Large, quiet comfortable room with full kitchen. Lovely view, next to pond and downtown's best neighborhoods. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast.

It was pretty expensive - but in fairness, everything in Iceland is very expensive.

Friendly helpful staff, great room, perfect location.

Location is perfect for both exploring Reykjavík and, if you have a car, parking on local streets in P2 or P3. Loads of restaurants less than a 5 minute walk. Quiet even though just one block off Main Street. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Front desk friendly and helpful.

No issues of note

The family room is perfect for 4 people (although there is no door on the master portion, and the area with the pullout bed does not have black out shades). The breakfast was great, the location wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

It said that they have parking but there just happens to be 15 public parking spots in front of the hotel that you can pay for 3 hours at a time, so the hotel does not actually have parking.

Clean, comfortable for a family of four, really great location. The kitchenette was a nice bonus. I would happily stay here again.

Some blackout curtains would've been nice as light leaked in around the shades. The first floor family suite was really noisy due to some very inconsiderate guests above us - not much the hotel can do when guests are slamming doors over and over and running around at midnight, but it was impossible to sleep through that. I would try to avoid the first floor if I returned.

Excellent location, great staff. Room was ready when we arrived at 1pm. We were able to grab breakfast before the 7AM start as we had an early morning flight.

Need some more closet space for clothes. A hand moisturizer lotion in the bathroom would have been great. These are minor but everything was terrific.

In fact this is an apart-hotel, which is even much better than just a hotel. Perfect place right in the city centre. Very good breakfast
