Centrally located on Ingólfstorg Square in Reykjavik’s Old Town, Center Hotels Plaza offers a bright, cozy bar and a popular breakfast buffet. The National Gallery and other attractions are a short walk away. The modern guest rooms feature hardwood floors, a minibar and satellite TV. Some also include a sitting area and a flat-screen TV. Guests can check their email via the free in-room internet access. The CenterHotel’s breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of hot and cold choices. After exploring the city, guests are welcome to unwind with a drink in the Plaza Bar, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and a flat-screen TV. - Location Reasonably close to bus stops 1 and 3 About 2 long blocks to Laugavegur street. Convenience market 2 doors down A variety of restaurants at hand Breakfast was good - a lot of options Taxis available right across street
- Location. Lobby and common areas nice and clean
Cons -
- The room is small (not unexpected and not terribly unreasonably so) - just mentioning as this could be unappealing to some. The bathroom needs some hooks to hang clothes, not just towel rack
- Rooms need an update. But they are clean and simple
- Shower was way, way too small. Would be nice to have a description of the room. The one I was put in had no view and it would have been nice to know that prior to arrivable.
