ODDSSON Midtown Hotel

It was very clean and comfortable. It was a good breakfast. Amazing staff.

There is no concierge at this hotel. It is self check in and there is no one around to ask questions to. The breakfast staff was amazing, especially Danielle, who helped answer some of our questions. But in general you are on your own with zero help. It would be very helpful to get some guidance from the hotel. This hotel is not where the action is. You must drive or take very long walks to downtown.

The breakfast was incredible. Amazing.

The parking garage was small and the lights didn't work over the weekend which was a little scary.

The ease of coming and going as we pleased. Locations was good. Close to everything by car.

Offer free breakfast and the breakfast is quite good.

Not enough parking space and doesn’t offer clear instruction on available street parking. And given this is a self check in hotel without reception, can’t ask for clear guidance when arriving.

Breakfast was great to have every day. Liked all the self check in options. Garage was great for rental car. Beds were comfortable. So nice you were able to accommodate 3 people in a room with the 3 twin beds. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the bar at night. Great communication when had issue with shower. Fixed right away.

A little warm in rooms.

Great location, our room with bulk beds was just right for us with kids. Bathroom is spacious.

Bad sound proof and very noisy all the time from streets. Breakfast can be better with more food options.

The location is good, breakfast good though I was hoping for some bacon and eggs. Easy check-in and parking on site.

The headrest in the room is at an impossible hight. Too high to rest your head against and too low to get your head under, so my feet stuck out at the far end.

Everything was perfect. Location is great. There is a bus stop pick up point at this hotel for those of you booking tours with various companies in Iceland.

It can be a bit loud as the hotel is located on a busy intersection. But if you are used to city noise while you sleep, you should be ok.

- Parking garage not that big so it gets full easily- Could not find the thermostat

Room was small but clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was very good with exceptional staff keeping everything clean and refilled.

The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was great. Hot and cold options. Great coffee!

The parking situation was a real problem. There are about 15 parking spaces in the garage for the entire hotel. The hotel provides no solution to this problem other than saying guests should park on the street while also warning guests to heed the tow away signs. We circled and circled looking for any place to park, seeing every spot reserved for a business or resident. We finally just parked on the entrance ramp to the parking garage. Once we secured this makeshift spot, we were unwilling to give it up to go find dinner, so we took taxis instead.The irony is that there are no decent restaurants within walking distance, which means you really need a car. The hotel needs to figure out a better solution to this problem.

The excellent food , the cleanliness, the easiest way to check in and out.

The very limited parking space.It took us around 1 hour to look for the parking space ( outside the hotel’s 16 cars parking space ). We parked outside, we’re not sure whether it’s safe or not, whether it will be towed or not.

Easy check-in, very clean hotel, great breakfast and very responsive hotel staff in answering emails.

Everything was really good except that we couldn't find parking after arriving late. The parking is limited on-site and there is parking across the street. Perhaps the Hotel cannot officially ask you to park in the parking of the shopping center next door but could have hinted at. Else, everything was good. Would recommend the Hotel.

Limited parking. Also communications can be better with giving a heads up a couple of times efore arrical on the checkin process. This is self service with codes provided via email. Good way but additional details such as free breakfast, timing, etc., would be helpful.

Easy check in. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was terrific. Parking available either in the garage or street parking. Lift.

Street noise. Needed the window open for ventilation but then you could hear street noise. Hotel supplied ear plugs if you don't have your own.

Great hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and big. Great design both in rooms and lobby. Parking available both in private parking but also in several parking lots nearby.

If you want to enjoy the soups offered in the evening, you should hurry. Although it says it is available until 10 PM, one evening it was already cleaned up by 09:30. But the lady was happy to serve us, so that was okay.
