location, room size, has everything you might need for apartment.

Phone in room does not work. Needs to do most of setup yourself, such as find a clean sheet in laundry room and put bedding on the sofa bed. My wife will need a chair to reach Microwave oven, it sits on top of Fridge (6 feet tall?)

Microwave oven is so highly placed that only 6ft high people can reach. That need to place on the kitchen plate form not in high cabinet

It takes a while to have hot water in the shower...and it is warm and nice but you can not make it hotter to maximum.Despite this little issue...which I don't mind but maybe other yes.The apartament was fantastic

Although I didn’t use washer/dryer they were available Bonus grocery store near by and excellent restaurants especially “Old Iceland “

Trying to figure out light switches otherwise maybe more dishwasher tablets

Just one block away from Reykjavík’s lively “Ramblas” (Laugavegur), Týr Apartments offer a modern, well-equipped stay with Nordic-style furnishings (IKEA, Jysk), all in good condition. The apartment is comfortable, nicely laid out, and even has a small balcony – great for enjoying a coffee or glass of wine. The digital code locks work well, and access is easy. A Vikivaki store right across the street (open 10 to 10) is very convenient.

There’s no elevator, and the stairwell is unfortunately quite run-down (worn carpet, scuffed walls), which doesn’t match the quality of the flat itself. Once inside, it’s a clean, comfortable, well-located apartment – ideal for a city break, as long as you don’t mind the worn common areas.

Beautiful clean residence in the ideal location close to everything within walking distance.

Checking in was unclear and difficult to access apartment because confirmation email was not sent in a timely manner. Thankfully a kind staff member was at the apartment cleaning and she was beyond helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond to help us gain entry and was just an amazing resource notifying the appropriate contact person for my family!

Convenient walk from bus terminal and to main part of city. Easy to get in. Loved the luggage room.

Was loud on weekday morning. Shower leaked out the bottom .

Comfortable accommodations, close to all we wanted to see and do. They went out of the way to help retrieve a left behind item. Amazing!

Ground floor a little noisy with a window open on the ground floor

It was nice having a kitchen so I wouldn’t have to buy food outside. The room was small, but had everything that I needed it, and it was close to the center and public transport.

The bathroom window needs a curtain.

I’m a real introvert, so the self check-in was a great feature. ? Everything worked as expected, and I really enjoyed the stay. It wasn’t a big deal to find the cheap P2 parking on the street, just about a 2-minute walk from the apartment. With the windows closed at night, there was no noise coming from the street.

If I was the owner of this property, I would install the hot water recirculation pump for instant hot water in all taps and shower. I had to wait a while to get it and it was not as hot as I would expect. But other than that, it was a very pleasant experience.

The location and kitchen were very nice! The staff were also super responsive :)

The apartment we were assigned was on the first floor so it was a little noisy at night.

Looks bigger in the pictures, but the owner/ manager helped with our questions and making sure we had what we needed. Would return. It was cozy.

The apartment was modern and in a good location.

There were biting insects which I suspect was because we were situated by the bins. I did contact the owners who checked after I left and said there were none.

Very comfortable apartment with everything you need (also for a big family). Close to the city center, parking was not an issue (D3 section is very close).

You need to let the water run for a very long time until it becomes warm enough to have a shower

Can only reccomend. We were on the ground floor. Probably will not write anything new that hasn't been written before me. Yet it is clean, well equipped, comfortable, good style, and is at a great location. My 7 years old twins loved it even more than us. ("Daddy, can we live here for a bit longer than 4 days?")

So minor things I can't even bother to write them down.

We were on the 3rd floor and there was no lift that we could see and we had huge heavy suitcases.

Tyr Apartments was very well located and close to the city centre. There was a supermarket just down the road that was really convenient. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Highly recommend staying here.
