Lagrange Apart’Hotel Strasbourg Wilson

It was clean and central to everything.

The room facing the street was extremely noisy. I was up till 2:30am and their reception is closed after a certain hours.

This place simply is a winner. Great pool, sauna, room and nicest most helpful staff at reception! 5 stars!!!

Close to parking, train, and room was large. Comes with kitchenette and was just fine for an overnight stay. They have studios and one bedroom units. Beds are not very comfortable by American standards but not the worst in Europe either.

The usual terrible French continental breakfast for 10 euro pp.

If I didn't have wifi on the bus to Strasbourg, I would not have received the email for what to do after 11pm for check in. That should be sent beforehand at least 24 hours just in case.

cleaning was inconsistent

Excellent location with breakfast included. An entire apartment including a kitchen with a pool downstairs. We were very happy!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about it. We enjoyed it very much!

Was able to book a room at very short notice. The rooms are clean, convenient (with small kitchenette), and fully adequate for a business trip. Well located, close to the main station and on tram / bus lines (direct tram line to the EP).

More crockery would have been useful for a longer stay.

We liked the location and the room set up. Nice to have a pool though we did not use it this time.

Room had a smell of "curry" upon entering. That was taken care of and the room smelled fresh.The breakfast could have had more options. There was no salmon or fresh fruits.Our bed was not comfortable. We liked the location and the amenities in our room, although they didn't fix the smell or leave us any dishwashing kit until the 3rd day of our stay

Everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Staff were great and helpful. I didn't have time to check the swimming pool and spa, but definitely, I'll do it next time.

short walk from train station where tram lines stop. swimming pool was delightful best in morning. staff were helpful. kitchenette contained what we needed for cooling our own meals, and an Auchon supermarket is not far away.

I would have given a higher rating except for one issue. Privacy. when we first arrived there was a tall man standing in the hallway and knocking on an apartment door. we went to our apartment. when I looked back, he was entering the apartment with a set of keys. I thought it strange because if a tenant had already checked out and he was on staff, he would have known nobody was in the room and would not have knocked.. another time the same man was knocking on a door next to our apartment as we were exiting. When we walked to the elevator and looked back, he was still at the door and watching us. I went to the reception desk and the receptionist said he was a technician.We like our privacy and put the sign on our door not to disturb or clean the room, but when we came back someone had been inside. It was still untouched by housekeeping. but a window was cracked open, which we never did because it was cold. Also some of my personal things were moved.It may be that the man is an employee entering rooms to turn down thermostats and lights to save the facility money, but that is still creepy. I something else, that is even more creepy. in spite of all the positives at this property, I might not stay there again.

Nothing. It met my needs on all fronts

Front desk staff (Annie!) was very friendly and understanding and made me feel VERY welcomed. The hotel is about 2 blocks (5-7 min walk) from train station and easy to find. You are 10 min walking to the heart of Strasbourg. Room was spacious, well appointed with coffee maker and hot pot. Bath was very clean.

The place is near the station so there are a lot of odd people around that area, but honestly it's expected. Facilities and room look worn out and old but fine by my standards. Kitchenette is awful, dont rely on using it, it has less than the bare bones minimum

Getting up at 5.15 to to get the 6am train to Paris.

Spend the extra dollars/euros and spare yourself the hassle!The staff tried their best but clearly need training. Not their fault, I feel bad but they need training. Again, not their fault.I arrived 11 am approximately after requesting early check in. Nothing done to accommodate me. I explained I hadn't slept all night. Was told not possible to take early check-in as room being cleaned (understandable as it was very early). I came back after 14h to be told room still not ready! It needed to be aired as it was musty. So now I'm being Bull-S'ed to. Hence this awful review.1. The pool BARELY constitutes a pool. It's a very large tub. The images on booking.com are extremely misleading and taken wide angle lens.2. The gym was being "repaired". Interestingly no workers ever set foot in it during my stay and it remained closed. Staff completely indifferent to this.3. The rooms are of university dorm quality. The pillows only positive and even they were average.4. Kitchen utensils...enough to boil pasta, effectively. Not really much more5. Neighborhood is doted with a homeless shelter within a stone's throw. Expect to be hassled for spare change, cigarettes etc6. The decor in this building makes it feel like you're walking through corridors of what were offices.

The stay was very unpleasant. The pillow smelled strongly of sweat, the bathroom had a constant stench of urine, and the carpets had a horrible odor. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority, and I would not recommend this place.

The reception desk staff were so friendly and helpful. One of the staff gave us recommendations on where to eat, and they all were great places to eat.

The after-hours door was hard to get open, the night watchman had to help us both nights
