Aloft by Marriott Strasbourg City Centre

Reception staff was very helpful. The location was much better than we expected upon arrival. It is next to all the train connections, across from a nice mall and away from the tourist area near the cathedral, which is a 10 minute walk.

The best hotel of our 2 week vacation! Friendlies staff, great bar, beautiful, clean room with an amazing shower and extra comfortable bed.

Such a great city view! The hotel has all the amenities needed!

Awesome overall experience!

Location was great. Just 10 min walk to the christmas markets but far enough from all the crowded streets. Near some good restaurants and just in front of a mall which was very convenient. Rooms were nice and confortable. Breakfast was good. We had 3 rooms and they located us all next to each other which was great. I loved that they gave us a welcome gift (traditional cookies from the region) and maps and tips to visit the Christmas markets.

Elevators were so hard to get. There’s only 2 elevators for the entire hotel and are not enough. We had to wait a lot of time to be able to get to the lobby. Its great that the hotel offers laundry and dryer machines but there’s only one small washer so we had to wait a lot for it to be available. Be careful with check out time. In Booking it said 12 but at the hotel they say 11am so it is important that the hotel provides correct info to booking.

Beautiful view on the Cathedral and the location. Close to everything. The kindness of the staff.

Best location, walkable to all the landmarks, no need to take any transportation, 3 mins walk from flixbus station, there is a very nice mall on front of the hotel. The staff were super friendly, we arrived very early at 4:30 am, they welcomed us and they were very nice and did their best to have our room the earliest. The rooms are super clean with perfect view and super relaxing, having all the needed facilities even if speakers and coffee machine. They have safe lockers for keeping our luggage.

Nothing everything was perfect and exeptional

Good walking distance to main tourist spots

Room was too small, no room to open the suitcase and no windows to open to change the air. Room was too smelly and needed airflow to remove the smell but could not open any window. In addition, there was building right next to my window- has no privacy. Breakfast was too poor quality.

Room is spacious and the design for bathroom is convenient. We have no problem with noise, very quiet during anytime of the day. Lift was available all the time and we never have to wait. Location was great. Reception was very nice.

On second day, we came back to the room at around 3pm and it was not clean at all, cleaners then gave us now towel. We did not leave the room after that so no need for them to clean anymore but I have expected it to be done sooner, at least before 3pm. Room was not thoroughly cleaned for third night, towel was not changed.

Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, good location. Like the pool and ping pong tables. Washing machines for guests is an awesome idea you don’t see enough.

Need water machine in the gym. Best to email guests where the parking is as it’s awkward to find (cinema a 5 min walk away). Not crazy about how they do the breakfast, but we did not even try it to be honest.

Nice comfortable beds with a great shower. A bit of a walk to historical center. Staff was kind and knowledgeable.

Very clean, nice and helpful staff, close to city center

Size of the room, A/C, bed comfort, cleanliness, staff supervision friendly and efficient.

Not in the historical center, but not that far away actually

Location was good.

Facilities, they didn’t changed teas and coffee, towels next days…

We stayed on the 7th floor, and the view was very nice — the room had huge windows all around to enjoy it. The city centre is just a 7-minute walk away. Although there is only a bar in the hotel, there are a few restaurants next door and also in the shopping centre across the street. The rooms are clean, the staff is nice, and the breakfast is okay.

We had problems with the key card to open our room — it didn’t work, and we had to wait two hours for a technician to arrive. Note to the manager: keep the necessary tool to open the doors at the hotel and train the staff to use it :DThat said, we received free breakfast the next day, so they handled the situation well. Also, there’s a small play corner next to the reception where our child could play during those two hours — definitely a plus for that too.

Room is very comfortable and clean.

There's no carpark or loading zones. Location is abit far from the city centre.

Good location. Clean

You can’t open the window and the AC was not working.

I Liked everything about the place. Facilities, location, cleanliness and specially the staff. Everyone was so nice. I definitely recommend it. Very close to the city center, close to transports (buses, trams, flixbus station).

Nice bathroom.

Husband left his wedding band in the hotel room. By the time we realised we were in the next city. Called straight away and staff said they had found it and will post back to us. We were more than happy to pay for postage but between phonecalls and emails they have lost the ring! More emails and phonecalls later, no clear story of how it was lost. Last we heard was they will contact the big boss but that was a few weeks ago. No word from them for any solution or compensation.

Comfortable bed and shower, although the bathroom-in-room is strange. Big windows, good sound insulation. And once you unplug the fridge and alarm clock, nothing disturbs your sleep.

The TV kept doing "maintenance", apparently that's normal, though every day seems excessive, it also switched off a few times randomly. Shower heads need descaling. No bike parking. The lobby is so vast you would think there would be one corner to lock your bike, but the bike survived outside as well.
