Pros +
- Walking distance from train station (8 mins flat walk), convenient for our 1-night stoppover. Very clean and spacious room. Huge bed plus 2 children sharing a fold-out couch. Very friendly staff. Within 2 minutes walk you are in the beautiful part of the old town. Expectations were low based on proximity to the train station but I was very pleased to stay here.
- A trendy, quirky hotel with a strong cinema theme and a fun atmosphere. Free popcorn and complimentary mulled wine were nice touches and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is close to trams and the Old Town, with lots of restaurants nearby, so getting around is easy.
- Great location and very friendly staff. Rooms were perfect and clean too

- No specific concerns
- We asked for a quiet room but were given one overlooking the street, and unfortunately it was loud. Bring your earplugs.
- The light is too shiny , if put a dimmer possible or lower light the room will be much relaxing..

Excellent location and well designed room.

The room was great, it was exactly as pictured. The facilities in the room are very nice, its comfortable and spacious. The bar is lovely, they gave us free mulled wine at the end of every evening so it didn't go to waste! The overall vibe of the hotel decor is fun.
The restaurant was closed when I visited which was a shame, we still got to eat breakfast there which was nice. Its a lovely room. The hotel itself has very long winding corridors and only 1 lift which gets very busy, but that can't really be helped.
It’s 5 min walk to Petite France, very comfortable location. The room was clean. They have breakfast buffet, which is convenient.
Location and staff. Especially Mona
Small room ,beding and complicated parking
Great hotel close to the train station and the sights of Strasbourg. Staff were lovely. Great value for money. Good breakfast. Room for 3 kids was a good size too.
We had a fantastic visit during Christmas at this hotel. The staff was warm and cheerful and while I expected some limited options during the holiday they were readily available at all hours. We enjoyed hanging out at the bar downstairs and my kids loved the hot chocolate.
The beds were a little uncomfortable after a couple nights, but otherwise the rooms were nice.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom mirror was techy!Reception were exceptional. They helped us 3 times from replacing our room key, free water bottle to our room when we asked and hot water for our cup noodles when we craved for ramen to eat at but could not find one in Petit France.Breakfast was excellent. Loved the green juice. American bacon. The scrambled eggs were the best by far from all the hotels in Europe I have been too, creamy.
There was only one pillow. Bathroom was really chilly and cold as the cold outdoor condition was able to convect into the bathroom. Room and decor were dated.
The location of the hotel was perfect for my family and I. I traveled with 2 kids ages 9 & 11 and a senior citizen. We were able to walk from the train station with luggage to the hotel with ease. The location was perfect as we only had to cross the bridge to be in old town , less than a 5min walk to enjoy the lights, smells and sounds of the Christmas markets. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value and location. Don't let the map throw you off with the visual distance, as it was totally manageable for the 5 of us.

Great location
Very small rooms and quite expensive for what it is
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and great location
Some areas looked abit tired but I would say overall it was clean and fine for what you pay for
Friendly and popcorn served in the lobby
Very cold. Safe battery didn’t work
Reception staff were nice and friendly, but they simply cannot compensate for such a disgrace of a hotel.
A nightmare from the very beginning. The first room looked nothing like the photos and felt dark and unpleasant. Shortly after, a woman walked into our room using the same key; the hotel had double-booked the room, which was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. We were moved multiple times, four room changes during our stay. One room was tiny and smelled so bad it was hard to breathe; another had barely working lights, a shower that flooded the bathroom, poor heating, and unbearable noise from neighboring rooms, making sleep impossible. Despite the fact that this stay was for my birthday, the only compensation offered for all of this was a cheap bottle of wine. The final room was barely acceptable, once again with a broken shower. The bed sheets in this room were stained and dirty, but we didn’t even say as there been so many problems during our stay. When we arrived, we were told by reception that breakfast was served until 11:00, but they forgot to informed us that on Mondays it actually ends at 10:30.When we arrived at 10an on monday there was almost no food left. When we mentioned this, the young woman working at breakfast responded rudely and started arguing with us. She then called the manager, who brought us a some omelet and a few extra strips of bacon. While we said thank you, it did not change anything, as we were already in a very uncomfortable and disappointing situation. To make matters worse, the internet was not working, and the cleaner opened our door after knocking without waiting for a response. We paid almost 300 euros per night per room, including an extra charge for a “Star Room,” which was advertised as having a balcony. We never received that balcony. Reception later told us that even if you pay extra for the Star Room, you must specifically request a balcony, otherwise you will not get one.We later learned there are only three Star Rooms with a balcony, and despite paying extra, we never got it.
The location of the property in relation to the train station and main attractions was great.
For a family of 5 the bathroom and general areas was a little tight. The rooms were a good size thiught
Good location with being near to the station but also not far from the centre and the Christmas markets. Clean and tidy hotel and the staff were very helpful and assisted me with being non French speaking and only English. Breakfast was nice and the staff very helpful when requiring something. It is a serve yourself buffet style mainly. It would be lovely in the summer as there is some outside space by the breakfast area so you may be able to sit outside then. The shower was good in the bathroom and the beds were comfortable.
It may have been an oversight but our bottles of water were not replenished or our coffee/sugar facilities from the first day. Coming back late at night and realising there was no water plus in the morning no coffee/sugar sachets was a little disappointing. It was quite expensive to stay but this was due to demand from a football match (which I was going to) plus the Christmas markets makes it so popular.
Excellent location. Maysa, the counter staff was super helpful and friendly. She gave detailed explanations that help us to explore the city. She even helped us to book a train ticket to Colmar! What a wonderful staff she is.
