Pros +
- Great location and very helpful recommendations from the staff.
- Nice room! Lovely bed and super friendly staff.
- Location was excellent, located between two bridges that took you right across to the Old Town, close to Petite France. The area felt safe enough for us to walk around after dark, and the service was very attentive. The buffet breakfast selection was quite good, although hot foods were limited.
Cons -
- Would have appreciated breakfast to be included or at least more reasonably priced (12 euro).
- Breakfast wasn’t good! Pastries are not fresh and the coffee tasted like it had been in the machine for a week. I also missed a bin in the bathroom.
- You can hear quite a bit of noise from inside the room, and although you don't hear the sounds of the next room, you hear the room doors slamming every time they close and because of the narrow hallways, it gets very noisy when people talk in the hall when they wait or head to the elevator. Luckily the noise didn't persist late into the night.

We travel with your small dog, so pet friendly hotel is our key criteria, along with easy accessibility, parking and location. Du Dragon is little gem in all of these, staff went out of their way to make us and especially our four legged family member welcome, they confirmed the parking reservation well in advance which is very helpful, when there is only handful of spots available in their secure car park. We had a suite, which had tons of charm and character and offers more space, then traditional room. Well worth the money after couple of weeks away from home, with lots of luggage in the middle of winter. Hotel is 5 min walk from Petit France and all main historical attractions. We though breakfast was very good too.
There is no restaurant on site, however, the Deliveroo or Uber Eats have lots of options, if you don't feel like going out. We have no complaints, its a nice modern, boutique hotel, with great vibe and we will happily come back.
The location was great. The view out to the front plaza was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The room was too small for two beds. We could not open the closet doors, and there was not enough space to walk to the second bed or sit at the desk.
Wonderful location, good facilities , nice breakfast, friendly staff
A bit expensive
The hotel was lovely from checking in to checking out the reception staff couldn’t do enough for us so very welcoming. Our room was nice and cosy the bed was comfortable to. The location was perfect a five minute walk to the centre of everything. The tram stop is a few minute walk from the hotel. We got the train from the airport to Strasbourg and then the tram to the hotel.
There was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel.
Location is close to main attractions.
Roma are quote small and you would expect complimentary water from a 4 star hotel.
The hotel is well placed, about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and Petite France areas respectively. The rooms are cleaned every day.
The lounge area isn't very comfortable, especially when there are a number of people in there. The Classic bedroom is on the small side.
Nice welcome and thoughtful service. We stayed with our family in two rooms. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Each room had a welcome compliment from the hotel — champagne, a bottle of water, a chocolate Santa Claus, cookies, and toiletries. It was very pleasant and unexpected. The staff was attentive and friendly, and we had a great overall experience.
The only good thing I can say is that the hotel’s location might be a positive. It wasn’t very close to the city center, but it wasn’t bad either.
Before booking the hotel, we called and informed them that we would be staying with our child and therefore wanted to book a suite room. They told us that the sofa in the suite could be converted into a child’s bed. When we arrived at the hotel around 6 p.m., the first unpleasant surprise was being told that there was no one available to help carry our luggage to the room. The real disappointment came when we finally saw the room.We were taken to a room in a different apartment building that was not part of the hotel’s main building and could only be reached by walking through the back garden. This turned out to be an Airbnb-style apartment with no real connection to the hotel, and it was not a hotel room at all.The room was exactly like an Airbnb apartment, complete with a kitchen, and it was definitely not the room we had selected online. There was an uncomfortable bed, poor-quality towels, no bathroom cabinet or countertop to place toiletries, and the room was heated by a single split air-conditioning unit.We ended up staying in an Airbnb studio with no relation to a four-star hotel, especially considering that we paid four times the normal price due to the Christmas season. When we reported this to the hotel manager, they completely denied any responsibility and made no effort to resolve the situation—instead, they argued with us.
Location, nice big “apartment”
Very uncomfortable bed, we stayed in the separate wing - separate from lobby and restaurant, mediocre breakfast
Staff pleasant and welcoming. Quiet location in a busy city
Despite booking a superior room it was still very small and the bathroom was tiny. Bath/ shower water was only ever lukewarm. Breakfast was pretty basic For the very high price we expected substantially better facilities. But they have a captive market at this time of year.
Location, size of the bedroom, Nice breakfast, Staff very fliendly, helpful, kind and treated the kids very well.
No complains.
Great location, cozy rooms and atmospheric restaurant.
Excellent location - just across the bridge from the centreFriendly staffThe complimentary mulled wine was a nice touch
The bed was rather difficult to get into as it was wedged between two walls, with insufficient room for side tables
A bit off the main drag, easy parking, close to everything. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Very nice staff
My only small complaint was the bathroom door that was right in front of the toilet,
location of the Hotel was very good Staff was friendly and helpful
breakfast was very poor, could use a lot of improvements
