    Pros +

    • Location is good and close to the tram to go to the city center, or 20 minutes walk until Kléber Platz. There are nice restaurants very close to the hotel.
    • It would be good if they add boiled eggs as well.
    • Location, clean, comfortable

    Cons -

    • The bathroom has 0 privacy. Even when travelling among couples, it is not great. Also, the price per dog is 20 euros per day. Insane. The breakfast is 25 euros per person and is way below average. Better to go to a caffe and eat there.
    • It is a shame that a Marriott hotel would lower costs with reducing warm temperatures in winter. We were told that the air conditioning is not allowed above 24C. And it was blowing cold! I had to ask for additional electric heater. They gave me one but I wonder if they have hundreds of them to meet the demand. Or the hotel expects that very few would dare to ask. And also the hotel reduces temperatures in the corridors. They make it warmer at specific hours. This is a four star hotel after all.
    • We selected this hotel specifically for the Sky Bar; however, we were disappointed to find it consistently closed on that day of the week (Sundays I think) —a restriction not disclosed on booking platforms, Google, or the hotel website. When we attempted to visit the on-site restaurant as an alternative, we were refused entry and told it was fully booked, despite clearly observing that the venue was half-empty at 9:00 PM. The restaurant staff was also very rude. While I have consistently enjoyed high standards at other AC Hotels, the management at this specific location fell well below expectations.

The room was dirty the two days of my stay, regardless of two reminders to clean the room. One elevator working and takes forever. It was raining heavily and they ran out of umbrellas! On our way out we asked for a big car, they advised it needs to be booked in advance, didn’t even offer to try.

The staff at reception is very nice and very helpful and patient. Cannot recommend this any more!

    10MichaelPosted on: 10-17-2025

The location and facilities were wonderful, but what really made the difference was the quality of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Robin and Elizabeth in the restaurant and Victor at the front desk. They were friendly, funny, professional, and just all around great. Highly recommend this place for a good hotel stay with a personal touch!

Very comfortable room, free WiFi. Design also very accommodating. Everything you need and compact.

Rooms are clean when you arrive but don't plan to stay more than 9ne night as they clean guest rooms only after 3 PM when the check in new guests.

    1. It took them from 9 am till 5 pm to clean my room. 8 hours and three complaints with the front desk!2. Breakfast is 25 euro per person. Plan to eat somewhere else

    9ZhamilyaPosted on: 8-5-2025

It is located in a quiet district. Everything looks fresh and clean, and the bed is comfortable. The interior of the room is unique, with a water sink almost in the middle — but it looks great. The rooftop bar was also excellent.

    5JOANNEPosted on: 7-14-2025

The rooftop bar was decent, nice breeze, nothing to look at and my pornstar martini was mid. When I went back on Sat for another drink, there was a private event preventing any guests from entering and unfortunately, no other options within walking distance. The size of the room is also good, would not come here if you're just newly dating someone as there is not much privacy whilst using the bathroom, so if you have to do anything else besides shower and urination, not great especially since no ventilation.

In the height of summer, the room AC is not able to go below 22C. When I asked the front desk about this, they said it is impossible to make it cooler and 22C is cool enough. Pfffft tell that to my hot flashes! I only booked this hotel because it had the Marriott name attached to it, so far, I'm not impressed with Marriott properties in Europe and would go with other options. Also, the location is not near anything which means taking the tram, which is close by, but still a good distance into the downtown area. We stayed for the weeked, which is way too long, one night here is good.

It was great! The room was clean and very comfortable. Nice rooftop area and friendly team.

    Nothing to say.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced

The check-in experience was bad and in general the front desk are not friendly. The hotel did not have concierge and we had to take our luggage to the room. When asking for bottle of water they ask us to come down to collect

A comfortable place for an overnight stay with the tram right outside straight to take you into the town centre. It’s also perfectly walkable. There is secure parking but the area behind the hotel has free on-street parking if you can manage to get a space. The breakfast was very good if somewhat chaotic with too many people in a relatively small space and at one point folks had to queue up for a table. There’s a lot about the hotel to like and it promises much but it’s trying to be very high end yet with a real mix of corporate clients and tourists. The bar is tight for space and a bit pretentious and we were amazed that it shut on Sunday and Monday nights with nowhere to get a drink at all in a hotel that’s right out of town. The restaurant is aiming for fine dining with a choice of only four options on the evening menu. There was no opportunity in the property to enjoy an easy, sensibly priced, relaxed meal. We were very happy to find a delightful bierkeller just behind the hotel by the tram stop which does open on a Sunday! The room was spacious, lovely and very comfortable but I hated the sliding glass door on the loo, which shut leaving a gap of about two centimetres. It felt like going to the loo in your bedroom! I so wanted to love the hotel but it was so impersonal and not really user friendly and we came away feeling overall disappointed with our stay. There appeared to be a bar and café facilities on the ground floor but they were all closed up. Maybe when these are open and available the experience would be much improved.

Clean and comfortable room. Very nice, delicious and rich breakfast. Nice lighting on the room. Location close to the Europian Parliament with tram connections to the city center. Free parking around the hotel.

The glass door in the bathroom is so inconvinient, even you are friends or couple.

That hotel was so amazing for us…. clean, calm and with a nice view from the top of the roof.Thank you for that kind staff and we will wanna to come again ?

    7HannaPosted on: 3-23-2025

Location was fine, convenience store nearby and purchased a local transit 24 hour ticket that needs to be validated at each tram stop or on the bus. Walked to a very nice park near the hotel, then explored the city using tram and walking. One bus ride near the hotel took is directly to the central train station.

Cleanliness, modern design, coffee machines in the room, water bottles.
