    Pros +

    • This hotel has so much character. It felt like a nice resort, and not just a room.
    • The experience of staying in a castle was lovely. The staff was very helpful and kind. Good breakfast and convenient parking
    • Beautiful property.

    Cons -

    • No I liked everything.
    • Perhaps if you don’t have a car it would be difficult to reach
    • The cost of the continental breakfast is ridiculous and exploits the fact that there is nothing close by. ($60 CHF per person). We weren’t in the chateau but a carriage house which was not a problem. It’s connected to the chateau by a courtyard. What was a little hard was the smell coming from the bathroom. Old building, old plumbing. We get it but it does distract a bit. Also you really need a car if you stay here. We would drive to a park and ride to take a tram into town. Easy and convenient once you get there but just good to know.

Wonderful stay, beautiful old building done up into a nice hotel. Clean room and bathroom and amazing breakfast.

It is a bit far from the city centre so it was less convenient without a car.

This is a beautiful hotel. It is an older building, and there is no elevator. It was an excellent experience. The staff are very professional and helpful.

Gorgeous Chateau, spacious rooms, several lounges with complimentary coffee/tea and self service drinks, helpful stuff

Pillows and duvets could be better

    10Deborah A.Posted on: 12-31-2025

The property was beautiful, clean and it was easily accessible to the main town by Uber but far away enough for peace and quiet.

Secluded. Area quiet. The Nature The staff were so helpful in a difficult situation. Loved the Christmas atmosphere. Lovely compliment beverages

The stairs Difficult with heavy luggage. A lift would be a great addition

It’s a French Chateau! It is on a park with great walking paths. They decorate for the holidays and it is adorable! The staff are friendly and the rooms are cute. It has a cat that lives in the main area! Overall excellent experience.

    Beautiful property and furnishings

Only breakfast is served, no bar, bottles of wine etc for sale by the bottle. Steep stairs, no bellman, no elevator

    10TerriPosted on: 12-16-2025

Staff excellent-above and beyond. Beautiful chateau.

Given the historical nature of the property, there were no elevators for luggage.

    9BrookePosted on: 12-15-2025

Beautiful location! It was so fun and unique staying in a chateau. The price was comparable to hotels. It was easy enough to drive into Strasbourg and park the car and walk into the city.

    10LauraPosted on: 12-14-2025

This is a gorgeous building, beautiful on the outside and inside. The staff was extremely friendly and had a cozy area stocked with coffee, tee, and pastries for while we were waiting to check in. The breakfast was delicious and the room was comfortable.

It was a bit off the beaten path, but that meant we got to enjoy the quiet and walk the grounds, which was nice after a busy day at the Christmas market.

Loved it! Beautiful setting and gorgeous interior! Colleen was amazing and assisted us with everything! We loved the lounge area! Very private and nice for a group. Our group of six even had a private section with classic chalet rooms.?

We liked the entire property, the spacious rooms and the fact that you can use the Air Conditioning unit as you please, there’s no limit or temperature set. The grounds of the chateau are amazing and the culture of honesty bar is just perfect for a relaxed drink at any time.

There’s only one thing, we wanted to check out early around 6:00am because we had a long drive ahead of us. When we tried to do so we realized that there was no way to check out before the reception opened, there’s no 24/7 reception or hotel management service. I imagine there should be a protocol for overnight service at the property but with us it didn’t work, we had to wait until the reception opened at 7:30am

It maintained its elegance as a castle and the staff was very helpful in pointing out special gems for our stay.

This hotel is in a beautiful park like setting with lovely walking paths, a great breakfast and a very welcoming environment. Loved staying here and will return when in the area.

    9Mehmet F.Posted on: 11-1-2025

Breakfast is nice, even though it can benefit from more local products. The park and building are wonderful. Honesty bar is quite good. The atmosphere is nice. Free coffee 7/24 is good.

Rooms can include more amenities like vanity kit or slippers.

    Great location and breakfast.

Room was unlocked by someone and $400 American and 400 Euros was taken from my travel wallet. It had to be someone with access since the outside doors are all keypad entry. Our door was locked and had to be opened by someone with a key. We reported the incident to office staff.
