    Pros +

    • Underground parking and location.Comfortabel bed and friendly staff.
    • Plenty of food choice.Staff where friendly.
    • It was ok. We stayed one night and we had the necessary

    Cons -

    • Unsafe location.Room was too small.Drilling outside room, not being told this before arrival was very loud.Breakfast bar had broken table.Staff where friendly.Stairwell had no light on one end so was unsafe.Fire alarm randomly went off with no explanation after evacuation onto street.
    • Bare minimum furnishing and the outlets for electricity not fixed well to the walls
    • I stayed at Ibis Styles in Toulouse. The price was reasonable (€85 per night), so it was worth it in that sense, clean and calm place . However in this hotel ibis Style in Marseille , I was not satisfied with the cleanliness, the heating system, or the condition of the room’s furniture. The sofa had large stains from what appeared to be spills.

The location is in the city center. I chose it because I wanted to feel safe staying in the city center.

Close distance to the port ( where all the bars and restaurants are)

Noisy hotel, starts off with the house keepers at 8-9 banging about and talking loudly to each other then people coming and going all hours well into early morning letting there door slam! Room 109 right next to the housekeeping room as well. Go with the other Ibis which js closer to the port , looks nicer and is in a less sketchy area.

Central location, stunning views of downtown Marseille and of the port.

The rooms need refreshing and better soundproofing, and I got pretty severe bug bites.

Clean and comfortable room and a good price. Reception staff were very pleasant and friendly.

No hairdryers available to borrow from the front desk which was not ideal in winter.

    Some staff were accountable.

There was so much noise especially the next our room that seems was Landry!Breakfast was not good some breads was burned, dishes were not clean,...

    Comfortable bed

Chaotic breakfast room, having to ask staff to replace depleted cups, plates, bowls, and food items

    8YolandaPosted on: 10-18-2025

    The rooms were very spacious.

The cleaning of the bathroom were however not as well as expected. We also had an emergency where we needed to get a medicine but there was no First Aid kid provided in the hotel. Which should be a high priority.

There were a lot of insects on beds. We did not sleep all night long. We cannot leave the hotel at midnight to accomodate at new hotel. It was so terrible

    Not a lot to like.

The staff were very rude. I asked for an iron, the hotel reception staff (I think his name is Shamel) pointed me to an ironing board and iron next to reception. I asked if they expected me to stand there in front of all guests to iron my clothes, and he said yes. Then I asked for something i could take to my room, he suggested I take a steamer. As this was around 11pm in the night i took it with intention to use it the next day. When i came back to the hotel the next night, the hotel reception guy was very rude, he asked if i had the steamer, when i answered in the affirmitive he said "you are a bad man". I told him he was rude, and he humiliated me in front of other guests. He said I should have returned the steamer. I did not know i had to return it right away. This was not made clear to me when i was given the steamer. In any case, you should not be speaking to the guest in such a manner. You can explain in a professional way. The next day i asked at reception for the hotel manager. I told him what happened, and he did not seem to care. When I asked the name of the person, he would not tell me. In fact, he would not even say what his own name was!! They really treat you like a criminal. Somehow i managed to speak to others at hotel and they said the man's name was Shamel. The hotel was very noisy - all through day and night you could hear other guests shouting and talking loudly as they went through corridors. The doors slamming etc

quality-price ratio ok. had parking and good location

    room small

    8BeyerPosted on: 9-17-2025

Good value for location, parking available for a small extra fee. The bed was comfortable and had a decent shower.

Room was a bit small, but fair for the price we paid. It was a bit rough around the edges, there was a hole in the wall from what we presume was a plug socket, completely unfinished. Some of the en suite was a little tired.

The customer service was great. I left my house keys in my room, but they made sure I got them back in Paris. Thank you again! I would recommend this hotel 100%. Ricardo Neves

Very nice and cosy hotel not far from the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and filling. We appreciated a room for three that was important for our family. Highly recommended!

    The location

We have booked for a bigger bedroom with a double bed. The room was tiny and we were informed that they didn't have a room with a double bed and gave us one with two single ones.walls and doors had dirt on them.
