Near the train station

From the hotel to the train station, I had to climb a tall staircase while carrying a heavy suitcase

Great location, just across the road from the main bus & train station. The room was lovely and clean.

We just never had enough time to have any brekfast and experience more of the hotel, due to an early morning flight.

The hotel is close to the train station albeit a long flight of stairs to climb to get to the station. Hot, cold, and sparkling water is provided, which is eco and convenient. Breakfast is plentiful.

My room was very small and warm. The walls are thin, so I had a hard time sleeping.

Convenience to train station. They were also kind enough to store my bags while I waired for a late train

I liked everything.

The beds were lined with a plastic protective liner until the sheet that didn’t breathe and was uncomfortable. The air conditioning though efficient was much too powerful to be comfortable, even on low. Nice breakfast.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was very nice.

area doesnt feel very safe after dark, checked out 5 minutes after checkout time and staff was quite rude about it

Excellent location near the train station, metro, and walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. Very good assortment for breakfast and in a spacious area. The AC was good too, and the TV had many channels.

Classic of Ibis - very small rooms, a compact bathroom, no safe to secure documents, and no other frills.

Room were clean and it was close to the center. Easy check in and check out

Lack of comfortable places to sit and relax.The terrace smelled of cigarettes, The waiting room wasnt comfortable and wasn’t organized nor clean. The staff attitude was ok. No English

Air Conditioner in the room was not working, it was tough, as it was a very hot day almost touching 40 deg Centigrade in Marseilles

The neighborhood is rough and dirty.The hotel do not activate the AC until Jun 2 [!] and we were in room 208 that received sun all day... it was hot! Unnecessarily uncomfortable.Personnel and people is general are challenged in English... Better to know some French... although many people we encountered did not spoke either [!] We used Google translate to communicate in Turkish...

The location of this Ibis is a perfect 5 minute walk from the train station and the hotel is secure. The staff are very nice and professional and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean!

The location of the room was directly across the hall from the elevator, so there was a lot of noise. But I also did not ask to move! Small room.

A great location near to the train station, so traveling to locations around the city was easy. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely.

I would not stay here again. The main door to the hotel doesn’t automatically open and they are not quick to let you in. I waited around 15 min for someone to let me in when I first arrived to the hotel and it was a problem thereafter during my stay too. When my friend fell asleep while the door was locked and didn’t answer the door, I had to wait for exactly an hour to get in because they had no way of accessing the room which is crazy. What if my friend was having a health emergency? The staff were rude and never apologetic. No guests were allowed to the hotel even to the lobby area. My French friend was rudely kicked out. The room had nothing, no safe and not even a hair dryer. This hotel is not cheap. The location is nice but it’s just not worth it. I’d book some place else.

It was right by the train station, the area was a little down at heel. It was only a 10 minute walk into the main part of town.

Simple, but neat and clean. Great breakfast menu. Especially appreciated their effort to make breakfast environmentally friendly, no plastic, locally sourced food, no portion sized packaging.

The hotel’s location was a definite plus—you could easily walk to the bus station for airport transfers and the metro station. There were also some shops nearby, and the city center was within a reasonable 1.5 km walking distance. The customer service was pleasant and welcoming.

However, the stay had some drawbacks. The rooms were not soundproof, making it quite noisy inside. The cleanliness was below expectations, with dust visible throughout the room. Additionally, the breakfast selection could have been better. Considering the price paid, I expected a higher standard of comfort and upkeep.
