Hotel Mercure Marseille Canebière

A lovely hotel with good size rooms and in a brilliant location. Very comfortable and clean. Would stay again

I would have liked some body lotion in the room. If flying without hold suitcases it is difficult to take liquids and body lotion is something that most hotels provide.The reception area is also strange with a small desk and 3 people crowding around trying to access the computer!

Some parts of the surrounding areas of the hotel were not nice - litter - feeling unsafe. But that has nothing to do with the actual service and comfort inside the hotel.

Convenient location between train station St Charles and the old port.

We had mosquitoes in the room - in November.

The location is secured and safe. It is close to almost everything. A lot of restaurant choices nearby.

The hotel was really clean and we like our family suite . It was spacious and had a good bathroom . Breakfast was good and staff were all pleasant and friendly

The location is convenient but for women in their own not the best as it’s a bit sketchy at night .

The location is ideal. Right on the Canebiere and within walking distance of the Vieux port, restaurants, tourist spots and shopping centres. The hotel was generally of good to very good standard. The rooms are spacious given how prime the location is. Car parking is nearby and accessible.

One of the bedsheets did have a blood stain on it. Other than that, the hotel was good. Not all rooms have a walk-in shower. Ours had a bathtub that you had to crouch in. My sons room had a good shower, so we showered there.

The location was good but we thought we would have better views of the port?

The rooms didn’t match for some reason and we were very disappointed that the bar wasn’t open for us to use in the evening and the restaurant closed at 6pm

Location is great.The room was quiet (you can't open the windows). They have an option for express breakfast which is nice. Easy checkin, easy checkout.

The rooms are not that large for a priviledge room. For the price, we expected something more confortable and pleasant.

Very close to the main train station and in the middle of the city centre. Beds were very comfortable and staff were very helpful. We had a great stay

It’s located on the middle of a busy shopping street, it is central but unfortunately you will be disturbed by noise such as bin lorry’s and shop keepers setting up. There are also some unsavoury characters lurking in the vicinity of the centre
