Campanile NATURE - Marseille Saint-Antoine

The food was exceptional, we had both dinner & breakfast.

Not clean, l went out and returned around 10:30 pm. The gate was closed, and no one was answering the phone or the intercom either. Other guests were stuck outside in the night. Eventually, we jumped over the gates.Insects inside the room.I do not recommend it.

The site itself is a lovely place with motel vibes. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

The rooms were terrible. It was dark and cold in the room. There is a heater above the wardrobe which only puts heat near the wardrobe. There was no light in the room only the bedside light. The bathroom was so old and dirty with no window or extractor fan for showering. The carpet is old and dirty and despite staying there for 3 nights, our room was not cleaned once and not even extra toilet paper or clean towels provided. (The initial towels left for us were tiny hand towels)

Breakfast buffet is really ok, you can eat also in the evening. All fine. And a lot of parking !

The layout was not ideal really confusing to find my room. Once I got into my room, I found the lights really slow to respond and the cleanliness of the bed was not of satisfaction. I requested a clean room and it didn’t meet that expectation. The ceiling had a hole in it under the air conditioning unit. The heating in the room didn’t work it was constantly cold. The staff didn’t understand English which was difficult to communicate especially for tourists like myself

We were on room 202.The mattres need to be change.It has been used a lot, its sinking to the centre.Its not possible for a comfortable sleep

Breakfast was OK and the staff in the morning were friendly. The reception area was pleasant and seemed more up to date.

The room was not great. Some weird stains on the carpet and the shower head was dirty. The pillows were not comfortable and the bed was tilted at a strange angle. The window sills were covered in dust and the general appearance of the room and the area outside was run down and uncared for. Really disappointed. We don't expect anything fancy from campanile but always felt they do basic well - basic means a comfortable bed in a clean room.

Price was competitive

Reception staff not that friendly! A poor part of town!

Friendly and helpful staff great food, dinner was great value for money and breakfast was more than fair, the reception and dining area is very modern and well maintained.

My room was in bad condition with broken mirror on door that was gone the bathroom was in need of repair and the whole room smelled like people had been smoking in there, the room really needs to be renewed.

Good place to stop for a night. It does the job and it's secure.

The area looks really really really rough. It doesn't look like a safe area at all despite of the hotel being in a fenced complex.

I like the location, a bit on the outskirts, it is peaceful, serene and surrounded by trees and flowers. They have free parking and the breakfast is good. The staff are nice and friendly.

Very clean, comfortable bed

The property is small apartments just similar to a motel, really lovely place with beautiful view from the balcony, we had dinner one night and we ate outside and it’s a beautiful area, with a little fish fountain and lovely scenery. You get a lovely comfortable bed, with 2 table sides and there was so much storage for you to put your stuff in. In your room you get a kettle which is so handy for a nice coffee in the morning and as there’s shops close by you can get a pot noodle. The space in the room is very nice and the shops aren’t too far away. I didn’t have the breakfast but we wanted to try different places while we visited, the cleaner staff come round everyday to give you new towels and anything for you room which is amazing. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

I really can’t fault this hotel however the pillows were on the thinner side and our hotel room the shower door didn’t stay shut so easy fix just to use the spare towel on the floor but like I said the cleaners swap your towels daily

Room was standard campanile layout and facilities.Air con did not work but was OK for 1 night.

We had planned on eating at the hotel but after arrival, on asking about eating, we were told the restaurant was closed because of a sports event. Because of this we had to drive around and find somewhere suitable to eat.We would have expected to be contacted before we arrived (SMS or email) that the restaurant would be closed - we would have probably stayed elsewhere had we known.The staff told us that the majority of guests did not intend to eat at the restaurant, which is why it was closed. We asked fellow guests at breakfast the next day, but all said they had not been asked if they intended to eat in the restaurant the previous evening. We think it was more a case that the catering staff wanted to attend/watch the sports event!
