AC Hotel Marseille Prado Velodrome

The view and layout

Nice property located right next to famous soccer stadium. Has a nice shopping mall right next to it. The room was clean and they included drinks in the mini fridge for free which was very nice.

It’s definitely not a four star I would be it three. The rugs in the hallway were stained, the rooms were nice but not excellent. The area is nice but far away from the old port and vieux port. But if you wanna stay by the stadium it’s your best bet.

It has nothing in common with what we generally know about Marriott Hotels

Old furniture, uncomfortable beds, old and not adapted toilet and shower, everything old and ugly in the rooms. Especially the toilet where we requested to be suitable for a wheelchair user, wasn’t adapted at all…

Great central location, comfortable rooms with friendly and accommodating staff

Breakfast selection was poor given the price per person.

The only problem is I have to out 1 day before, due to the AirFrance charge me fligth, si if you can reembolsar 2 room 1 day esch one I súper happy with Booking please Thank you.

The bed had little wheels and moved, the Marriot name was not present at all, I expected something more. The curtains didn’t close completely.I couldn’t add up my points form the stay.

Room was clean.

There was no parking that we could access with our 9 passenger Ford van. Breakfast was not included was was expensive at 39 euros for two.

A room to retire.

Turned the aircon heat all the way up. Still felt chilly. No bathroom slippers, no toothbrush and tooth paste. Wifi was a tad slow probably due to high traffic from all the guests.

Breakfasts were available early in the morning

Toiletries were not replenishedGlassware and cutlery were dirty

Only one towel for two persons didn't bring more even when we asked. Feels like they are short staffed

Pool is a lovely touch but very small with limited sun loungers, which people place towels on and then leave.

Location was perfect for soccer matches. Walked out of hotel and into stadium.

Service at restaurant and bar was sometimes slow.

No usb outlets in room.

They charged us twice and we still haven’t received a refund. This was a month ago.

Equipment is fair and with a pool.

Saying our deposit was not charged successfully and tried to charge us twice when we were checking out. We had to searching for the receipt and bank history to prove ourselves. It’s a very bad experience.

Staff ,efficient and friendly, facilities were excellent and good value for money plus private parking

Good location

Terrible parking arrangements. They promise you a parking spot and you arrive with an elderly relative and the car park is full. They offered no solution until the manager arrived who to be fair was very good but very stressful overall.

Very modern hotel, newly built. Clean, spacious, very modern rooms, large and comfortable. Professional staff, parking just across the street (25 Euro a night).

Not a very charming part of Marseille, the area around the velodrome rather seems like a mixture of event space (concerts, sport events at the Velodrome, conference facilities in and around the hotels) and not too interesting residential area. Quite a bit away from the city center.

Breakfast was good but did not start on time on the Sunday morning meaning there was not a great selection

Air conditioning was quite poor despite being on the maximum cooling
