    Pros +

    • Hotel has nice side views of port, is in a central location and has a lovely staff member
    • Don’t be cheated by photos
    • Very helpful receptionist. Breakfast was good. Very convenient for the Vieux Port. A bit more expensive than I would have thought.

    Cons -

    • I was told when we checked in that breakfast was included but got a 100 euro bill for breakfasts when we checked out.
    • Hotel is dirty, lobby smells stale, room smelled of sewage. Beware, photos advertised are not actuality. The bed is comfortable, Annabelle is lovely but there is no way I would ever stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. Additionally, the lift is dodgy!
    • Area was a bit "seedy" Too expensive for breakfast.

First of all, Hotel in The best location to explore city, right in port.Room was clean, beds are fine (No tired mattress ), not big but bigger than Some other French hotel I have been to.Excellent staffs, They are really tried to help guests. I want to mention the names, Catherine, Sarah, and sally.I had a problem with my bank, my credit Card, also my sim Card did't work to Call the bank. They did their best for me, tried to pay my bill with their Card, also help me to Contract my bank. Thank you, wish you The best.

As a 3 star breakfast was fine, but could improve a bit.

The location is perfect. The views are wonderful and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is acceptable and a great stay. Our third time in Marseille and we would definitely stay there again.

More breakfast choices like pain au chocolate

This was the perfect location for a weekend stay to enjoy Noel Marseille! It was so easy to access from the train station. The staff was kind and accessible. The room was generous with a lovely balcony. We left the balcony doors open most of the time as the weather was lovely and we enjoyed the music from below. The room was very quiet -if we closed the doors it shut out all of the street noise.

The entrance is a bit hidden, but it was fine once you knew where it was.

Location was good, but not what I expected on the Port itself. The big TV was very good. Although there was no Netflix.

The reception and entrance area is pretty scruffy and rundown. Reception guy was nice but he just seems too informal not much of a welcome no smart uniform nothing. Breakfast room is a grim almost painted Black a windowless room. There was no safe in the room the towels were small. The light under the TV was annoying and the heat controls were im possible figure out., I couldn’t do it. I tried to call Reception but it was voicemail. There was no water in the room to drink and no fridge as far as I could see. Maybe I miss it.

    The spacious room and location.

Mini reception with only one worker.

    7NeridaPosted on: 11-17-2025

The room had no view, as it was located in the roof space, but the skylight provided light during the day, and there was a separate toilet in the room. The room was spacious, and the location was great.

It would have been nice to have a room looking over the square/plaza

Very good breakfast. Kind girls in charge with the breakfast area.

Homeless on the street close to the entrance.

    6NeilPosted on: 10-15-2025

The hotel is basic but convenient to the local amenities, our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the street.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were charged a €200 refundable (apparently) deposit, this we were told was in case we changed our minds about not having breakfast at the hotel and to cover the local tax… As of today nearly 4 weeks later and having been assured by the hotel that the money had been repaid we are still waiting, be warned if you pay a deposit you are unlikely to get it back.

The hotel is located right on the waterfront, with cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as nearby metro and bus stops. Unfortunately, that’s where the advantages end.

First of all, it was very noisy at night. Of course, it’s understandable since the Old Port and promenade are close by, but when we stayed at a nearby hotel last May, it was much quieter.Second, the room was rather dirty — the windows looked like someone had tried to wipe them with a dry cloth but only smeared the dust around, so we were looking at the city through streaks. The bathroom seemed recently renovated, but it was already quite dirty — clearly, cleaning is a problem. And the most disappointing part — the breakfast was overpriced and tasteless, and the lady in charge of the dining room was extremely unfriendly. When we arrived, all the tables were either occupied or not cleared. We had to sit at the only free table, which was meant for 4 people. The lady scolded us rather sternly, saying we couldn’t sit there as a pair. Well, perhaps she should clear other tables so guests can actually sit down, shouldn’t she? There were no omelets left, and we had to remind them to bring more; the coffee was bad, and the croissants — I honestly don’t know where they get them, but they’d be better off buying them at Lidl, they’d taste much better.

The breakfast was very good, large selection.

There is no fridge in the room, I missed a cold beer at night ;-).

    10WendyPosted on: 10-11-2025

We loved its location, value for the money and the bed! The bed was very comfortable. After a long day of travelling it was easy to fall asleep. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    8GeoffPosted on: 10-7-2025

We liked the location and the room was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English (We're both French speakers so this wouldn't have been an issue, but I'm aware that it could be for others.) The breakfast was excellent with real coffee form freshly ground beans.

    8GrahamPosted on: 9-30-2025

The position of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. The room was small but very clean and it had a great shower. The breakfast was good but sometimes lacked replenishment. The reception was small and sometimes the staff did not even acknowledge us when we passed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

    8MaureenPosted on: 9-30-2025

Excellent location and side view of the port from our bedroom. Very good sound proofing as we were in a busy location but when the doors were closed, we heard very little noise. Comfortable room.

Breakfast room was small, very busy and as it had no windows, lacked ambience. At busiest times, some food items ran out and were not always replaced.
