Hotel Terminus Saint-Charles

The location is the only thing. Subway station is just right outside.

Actual room does not match the photos. There is constant sewer smell. The shower is filthy. I do not recommend it.

Excellent location in relation to the Saint-Charles train station and the hotel has a big sign making is easy to spot. Quiet room, good bed, warm covers. Coffee in room. It is always nice to have staff available. The food and service in the restaurant next door was also very good/above expectations.

The door to the bathroom squeaked making it hard not to wake each other in the night. There was an odd electric jug/kettle situation (where the jug is is not where you plug it in even though the stand is there, IYKYK).

Walking to first floor in annexe but then taking the lift. It is an old property but my bag was heavy.

The neighborhood is sketchy. I would rate the accommodations as 2.5 stars rather than three. The rooms are very basic.

We enjoyed being close to the metro because it made traveling up and down to the port a lot easier, the room was small but cute

We wish there would’ve been an A/C or a fan because the room did get pretty hot We also wish there would’ve been a small mini fridge for drinks!

Basic room near the station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They offered cheap storage for my bike and bag between stays so I could leave it in Marseille for a week.

No plug in bathroom sink meant I wasn't able to hand wash clothes. A bit of a smell of drains.

Linen and room clean. Air conditioner worked. Staff were very pleasant.

Reception area ordinary. Whole place smelt mouldy. The shower nozzle was broken. The courtyard view was dirty. Was disappointing for a hotel.

We stayed here just for 1 night to get a train to Provence. Our was very close to St. Charles Stn so we could walk from the hotel the next day

Close to the train station which worked for us as we had an early morning ticket back home and we just stayed there for the one night.

Outdated and not well maintained. Lift only allowed 1 person and the piece of luggage at a time.

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

wi-fi speed was a little slow.
